TimeMeans, beutiful photo of the oak tree.

Thanks. The crappy camera on my phone did not do it justice, but it's still not too bad.

Exploring this site and seeing the most ridiculous topics discussed. I live in Ontario and hate the snow if I have to shovel it or drive in it ,why would polish people feel any different?

...doesn't really help if you all of a sudden start reviving those moronic threads, that's been dead for months, years...

don't be, it's an open forum after all, I'm just saying...

Of course, when I read the title of the thread I totally misinterpreted it. Winter lovers... versus summer lovers meant something ....else.
Predictable :))

Poles are rather sexy in the winter.

Exactly :)))

Summer is better for sex. If we are talking about the AC area naturally.

Yes,but who is going to warm Polki in the winter since they do not wear furs?

about the AC area naturally

You mean adriatic coast?

You mean adriatic coast?

Why that knife in the back southern???. Those men are brutally good looking . I talked to one girl few days ago we mentioned montenegro and she started yelling I can't believe how handsome and masculine they are.

I still can't. after xx years I didn't learn the lesson to travel light.

I meant you have to take care of this:

Air conditioned, climatized areas. 20 C is optimal in the summer, 25 C in the winter.
Animal has to freeze a bit to be motivated to warm up fast, or in winter's 25 C subject has to subjected to unbearable warmth, clothes just slides down itself unnoticed faster.

it never fails.

climate matters.

One of my bf's once told me that he has ice on his eyelashes (19 C in the room, 40 C outside), and that he understood the message.

Yes,but who is going to warm Polki in the winter since they do not wear furs?

I would buy them arctic fox fur coat, the warmest, then again using same climate - homeotherm driven logic, they would have to wear a little to none underneath.

Serbian men are particularly good looking in fact this is known in the region.Naked women under furs circulate a lot but unfortunately we usually see only the furs as in the case of Aphrodite.

I like winter. I come back to life when snows and rains.

I hate wet weather but I understand we need some rain from time to time. Snowy conditions can unfortunately be wet and damp too. But when there is a couple of degrees of frost and there is significant amount of snow - say some 10 cm or more it's really lovely then. But snow and winters wears on you pretty soon. 2 months of good snowy winter and nice amount of frost on top of that are enough. Then away with the snow I say.

I especially like the general rainy atmosphere of central Europe the streets with humidity and some obscure sky and little fog where you walk and smell the wet leaves while it is certain that a mesmerizing slavic existence will soon pass under her umbrella. The classic heels sound on the pavement reminds you that this is not Greece in winter the architecture is central european.

Don't Greek women wear high heels then?
noreenb 7 | 554

Oh, I think they do, in theatres.
And on the streets? Southern, do they?

They do but they cannot reproduce this rhythmic sound that makes hearts beat faster(I guess it is also an effect of the whole combination but has to do with gravity as well).

A good point Southern. You're are exceptional.
I even don't know why though, because I have never seen you.

Are Poles winter lovers?

Some are and just love having sex on snow.

Doesn't cold cause peripheral vasoconstriction?

That makes cold and snow the enemy of love.

yes, with the new technology they are gloves warmers, electrical socks and so on. Poles are endless with innovations when it comes to coping with difficult situations;).

What about skin and its irreplaceable qualities, sensibility, warmth, softness, texture, moist filled with pheromones, that makes one utterly connected and truly close to the other, you are not hairy moose?

I love the winter. Living in Washington state we don't see snow much until recent years, but I always loved the winters in Poland especially in Kalisz.

I have found a lot of Poles (in Kraków anyway) seem to just go about as normal in winter, maybe just stay in a bit more. Personally, I loved winter in Poland. It's so bitterly cold, but so dry and fresh, and (a big thing from someone from Glasgow) EVERYTHING still works!

This is coming from someone living in a part of Scotland you cannot physically get to if there is too much wind, rain or snow!!

no, moose is not how I would describe myself, but there are def people in this world who have more hair then me......

Now, going back - I am going to sharpen my skates and off I go.........:)

When I was in high school I usually spent 2 weeks in the winter skating on the lakes in my area. Brilliant way of spending time provided one checks the thickness of ice.

I have lived in Poland and Canada.
I would say the winters in the Warsaw area and Toronto areas are about the same.

I would say the extremes are worst in Canada (especially if you go away from the USA border, or north of the Great Lakes) than even other parts of Poland.

I dont have a problem with winter except when it snows alot. I dont like shoveling feet of snow (I dont have a snow blower or anything like that).

Aside from that its a nice change of weather. Skiing is fairly fun. And Christmas just isnt Christmas without snow!
