Londyńczycy

Is that a Polish copy of East Enders?

hardly, son, hardly

the only soap that I like is the 'Na dobre i na złe' - it's about doctors in a hospital

oh sorry I also enjoyed 'Ranczo'

I have no idea if you can watch these from TV Polonia satelite channel or from some sime on the internet though

Wipe out! I watch it with my kids. Stupid and nothing new, but commentators add to the fun:

It is about Poles moving to London and trying to make a life for themselves there and the problems that they have. It is mixture of everything, comedy, drama, love etc.

I've never had problems streaming from TVP's website. The only problems you might encounter will be things like trying to watch football games. Regular TV should be fine, though.

Merged: What are some popular Polish TV Shows?

I live in Canada and I want to download some popular tv shows to watch, just wanted a suggestion to see what the best one is. In America my favourite shows include

breaking bad
entourage
the office
big gang theory
etc

Mainly I want to download the shows to improve my fluency in Polish, I just don't want to be stuck watching crap while I do it.

thanks for the suggestions.

I don't watch TV at all but i love it. It's no longer on TV. Most recent episodes are available through Ipla app.

Polish TV questions

1. Hi, what are some nice Polish sitcoms or series from the early 2010s? I'm especially interested in what was big in the year 2013 in Poland on TV.

2. We only have TVP in my home and like most state TV it's a bit boring. Can you please tell me the other major popular TV channels in Poland?

Also forgot, do you have a TV host/public figure that looks like our Tsvetanka Rizova (librarian w glasses look)?

Why 2013 and not 2014?

I can`t help you, it`s not my cup of tea coz I stopped watching TV on regular basis exactly 29 years ago when I moved to my own flat and decided to live without a TV set.

I also try to diminish TV time but had to move back with my family. I think TV was much better circa 2005-2014.

People always say that sth was better in the past. Look at those youngsters today! What rascals! We were much better mannered and educated back then.

Well early 2010s was a totally different world musically and in many countries politically.
