Amazon Alexa/Google Nest in Poland

Does anyone have any either of these smart devices in Poland can if so can you please confirm if it is possible to listen to Spotify on them?

I believe there may be some issues being in Poland

Hey I have a google home and nest it works just fine although when I set it up I do remmebr it didn't do much i.e had hardly any features then I chatted online with google and they got me to set it up and pretend I was in the USA some how now it works perfectly. I think now you can even speak to it in Polish,

Hi, my girlfriends grandma is in Bydgoszcz and we are in the UK. There is no travel.

Is there any kind of service / charity over there that we could contact to get broadband / WiFi installed for her?

Also, we would like to send an Amazon Echo Show or similar (I believe Facebook portal doesn't work in Poland?) so we can video call. So those work there?

When you say it works fine please can you elaborate on the functionality that you specifically use for it?

Do you have Spotify etc?

I have two Amazon firestic tv's A Amazon Echo and a Amazon show all linked to my UK amazon account.

All works well (In English) alexa can even do English to Polish translations.

If you wish to have English/American or whatever tv and radio available on firestick and echo, its best to configure them on a separate router which uses a smart vpn to pretend that all the devices are in the uk, us ,etc, I use the smartdns proxy service.

As far as I know, yes.

We use it for turning the Roomba on and off, for playing music, for turning the lights on and off and a couple of other things.

No Spotify (I've never used that), however it does connect to Amazon Music.

Ok, thank you. It sounds like it would be very difficult for us to send it by post and have an older lady set-up on her own.

Hmm Mayne not so easy. Depends on the tech level of the lady in question.

You might be able to set it up for her where you live and then ship over to her but she would need to know how to set up the wifi connectivity.

Does anyone know if Google Home can now understand basic Polish ?

First, make sure:

All devices are on the same WiFi network.
Your Spotify app is up-to-date.
All devices' software is up-to-date. If you don't know, check with your devices' manufacturers for how to update the version software.
