Hi, i am doing internship in Warsaw. I am really keen to play volleyball! Could you recommend me some places or/and teams to join? I am a middle level female player, but I realy love this sport! If you have some suggestions, write me katrusya8@yandex.ru!
Where can I play volleyball in Warsaw?
Do you understand Polish (at least in written form)? Because I don't have addresses/phone numbers to all the clubs, so you might have to search more information online.

But i am staying in Warsaw only 5 months, so I do not want to join a club, I would like to play in some amateur team playing for their pleasure.

It should be useful if you tell me in which areas you'd like to play, Warsaw is a big city :)
Are you going to pay for it (amateur leagues usually charge the participating team, sometimes quite a lot of money) or you want to play for free (eventually only paying costs of the rent for the place where you play)?
Most universities probably have some organized games, I remember when I was at university (in Poznań, not Warsaw), we could play soccer or basketball with other students, all we needed was just to find a group of person who liked that sport, and then someone was arranging the details.
So this would probably be the best way - talk to some people in Warsaw, as I don't think you can find many informations online, if someone is playing only for pleasure, they don't start with a website :)
Or just ask in a professional club if they could recommend you a place/team, because those coaches/players would probably know (a little more than me) what's going on in their sport in Warsaw.

Thanks for the information. Exactly, it was an idea behind my post here to find some people/students playing volleyball for pleasure. I checked the website of sport center of Warsaw university (it is in Polish, so i am not sure that understood it properly), and it seems that they do not accept outsiders to their sport classes. It would be nice to find people going to some place to play volleyball and join them (with my contribution to the rent, of course).

Just to play volleyball (siatkówka), the leisure centre on ul. Solec has teams: aktywnawarszawa.waw.pl/pl/osrodki-sportowe/solec
And there's an amateur league here: ligasiatkowki.pl
For professional, if you don't want to contact the amateur league first, try the professional league: plusliga.pl
