Why are so many Polish People rude on the internet?

No mordo, I'm posting this from a Kremlin basement. Yes, I am in Poland, which is why I can say these things with absolute conviction and why it's especially horrible to see Poles going to town on my people/country all over the internet all the time with such evident glee.

Don't read that trash talk. The internet is not real life.

Perhaps a virtual one.

It's trash talk from inconsequential individuals.

Well, I'm sorry, maybe I need to be more zen and curate my online existence impeccably, because that seems to be the only way to avoid Poles being rude as f*ck about us, our women, our food, our weather, our culture, just about everything. I think I have a right to be annoyed and I think I have a right to raise it here. The clue is in the post title.

Or maybe, just maybe, I'm not the one being a c*nt here - they are. The way Poles behave online, flagrantly, makes me want to cut up my residency card. I hope they feel proud of that.

Perhaps spend less time online and even less time worrying about what lowlife say to each other.

It's an inferiority complex on their part.

In real life, set your boundaries, stick to them and laugh at their weakness.

Maybe some of it's the inferiority complex sometimes but a lot of them genuinely think they're hot sh*t. Their heads are ballooning even further in recent years due to overseas racists telling them Poland is the best place in Europe because it doesn't have much non-European immigration. That's another topic but also one that doesn't make me feel good about living here and also makes social media an absolute nightmare right now if you're not a flag-f*cking Polish nationalist (which make up about 80% of the population) or a non-Polish nazi. This country makes me so tired.

Brother... I hear your pain. I really do. But have you ever paused to consider that Copernicus was Polish? The man who moved the Sun and stopped the Earth was from Toruń, and likely wouldn't have even looked at you without a bow and a nod to the sash.

Also, and this is crucial, Poles were the first Europeans to eat with utensils. Forks. Knives. Possibly even the pre-modern teaspoon. While your ancestors were still chasing pigeons around a muddy square and biting into turnips like wild dogs, the szlachta were cutting roast duck cleanly and with decorum.

Think about that.

Hahahahahahah!!!! Marie SKŁODOWSKA Curie was frying up kotlety - in full winged hussar regalia - while we were buggering about in wode and making henges and what have you. Eagle emoji flag emoji Polska gurom.

It would be nice if you decided to stick around. This is good writing!

"Buggering about in wode" is something I'm gonna have to use now.

Do you have a problem?

Christ, here we go. "We are ALL nationalists due to hard history of proud national struggle". I swear there's not another country that takes itself as seriously as Poland, except maybe the USA and North Korea.

And still suffering in Poland, instead of going somewhere west where transition is reimbursed?

Try Israel.

That's why I like them so much. Poles and Jews, the only two nations in the world chosen directly by God, have to stick together. :)

Anyways, WarSore, we get your point: we are a bunch of rude, nationalistic, megalomaniac c*nts. Quite an accurate observation. Well done. Is there anything else, apart from stating the obvious, that you're here for? Propose a solution? Appeal to our common sense? Anything?

Thank you and likewise - enjoying your comments greatly!

I'll stick around until the Poles discover my true identity and I'm publicly executed in Stadion Narodowy for criticising the national passtime of internet sh*t-talking, showing insufficient reverence for the nation's martyrology, or something else that enrages the world champions of "dishing it out but not being able to take it".

@Korvinus

Around a million of you in my country, stary, enjoying the state benefits, high wages and freedom. Think you can handle little ol' me.

Oh, absolutely. Hang around and enjoy the board. We haven't had a genuine Pole-hater here since Espana. *high five*

That's not my point. You seem to have a problem. Fair enough, you warned us that you are sore. I like to establish what your problem is.

It's not so much 'hating' as being very direct and honest about certain things. I heard Poles are supposed to be big fans of that? Maybe not when they're on the receiving end, though.

We are indeed; and we do respect an honest man even if we don't like what he says.

Looking forward to reading your posts.

I agree, they shouldn't be there (I'm waiting for local extremists saying that brain drain is good) but currently they would have to be sifted through some filter because who knows what kind of blood some of them have.
