Polish neighbor problems

Hey guys

I'm living next door to a Polish couple, which I am told is a dresiarz, after years of abuse I finally decided to do something about it, then recently it looks like they want to turn it into a Polish/non-Polish fight, I'm really worried about this because I don't want to fight Polish people and I've met some really nice Polish people and would like it to remain this way but I'm worried after this episode I might start thinking about Polish people negatively, any ideas? Sorry guys I've never had problems with Polish people before it's just after making friends with these guys it looked like they wanted to turn it into them becoming boss and me being the follower which is weird, I've not encountered this with any other Polish people btw

Talk to them nicely. They are probably just frustrated by your own approach. Be kind, man.

As a foreigner in Poland, there will always be some level of hostility towards you. To make you feel better, it's very often the same with Polish people who came back from abroad (working or living there); they are no longer considered fully "Polish." I don't mean a physical aggression, but very subtle "emotional" one. It's not a big deal because it's human nature.

In your situation, Crow's advice is solid - don't get revengeful, play with them nicely, and be kind. Hopefully kindness will trump their silly behavior.
