If you lived abroad, would you like to have a Pole as a neighbor? I have to admit that there are no Poles living in our neighborhood, although our immediate neighbor is a Syrian. Once, our priest's dog flew into his house through the open door and flew around the floors for about 5 minutes before it escaped back outside. We still joke in our family that the dog (of a Catholic" priest) made a crusade. 😀

No problem. I would certainly like that Polish neighbour to share my views and support decency and intelligence like I do. But even if he/she/they were rightists, nationalists or homo sovieticuses, it wouldn`t matter much to me, either, coz I know how to keep distance from people I don`t want to get into close touch with.

Abroad, it is impossible not to maintain contact with a Pole living across the fence.
We used to go to meetings of the Polish community in our land, we also got invitations to the Polish consulate for Christmas Eve when it still existed. In the meantime, everything ended.

It depends. I wouldn't mind having a Polish neighbor to talk to over a fence or take care of his mail or watch his house when he is away, but getting too friendly may not be the best idea, unless your way of life and view on politics are aligned.

Like or mind?
As long as he speaks perfect American I wouldn't mind.

I had a Polish couple as my neighbours back in 2008. We're still good friends now although we no longer live next door to each other.
An immigrant should never socialize with another immigrant. One drags the other down in every possible way...starting with English.
If I live as neighbor to Poles anywhere I would share secrets of ljutenica, ayvar and kaymak with them.

And all this while drinking rakija with him. That's how I can imagine it.
Rakija and wine. Beer, too.

You know that Poles have a stronger head than Serbs. 🙂
I am sure that Poles drink more then Serbs. Speaking in general.

Serbs must be dehydrated. That would explain the deficiency of your brain.

It's about finesse, not brutal size and strength.
Dobro pane.
And what's next?
My neighbor is a doctor...but fortunately not from Saudi Arabia. This world has gone completely crazy. We suddenly have to be afraid of doctors.

Indian doctors are more reliable.
