how does gyms membership and subscription in Warsaw work?

hello, i purchased fitness plus 360 membership at calypso fitness Warszawa Nowoursynowska at 96.6 pln for one year in 8/10/2020 and we signed the contract for one year which will end in 31/10/2021 and gave a fit plus 360 card to use while checking in and checking out, due this pandemic I used the gym once after that the gym was temporally closed most of the time till now and yesterday they send me a letter asking to pay they due amount of 165,09 pln when I asked them what the money is for they told me that it's health subscription package which I never used, on their website they don't provide further details for the membership and packages that are purchased and under the letter it's written that I need to proceed with the payment in five days if i don't they will sue me and i have to pay all the cost of the court, is that really how it's done or they just scamming people , do I have to pay that amount for something that I didn't use? please help, may be I don't have more information on what is called subscription membership which is 96.6 pln and no other additional fees

My gym in NJ is open but have to put masks even on treadmill.sauna/steam room shut but hot tub and pool open with 1 lane per person.

It sounds like a scam, unless you've signed something to request the service.

I went and purchased a Sole Elliptical machine, it was a bit pricey but its nice to have down in my basement. I still cant find any free weights, all sold out after the gyms were closed.

This machine has been kicking my ass too! Im not as young as them good ol days:))

lol thats why now I miss a basement in our house


trust me you can,I have 4 masks in my pocket and change every 20 minutes when they are soaked with sweat and saliva esp when you kinda jog at 4,4.5 mph.

Buy yourself a pair of cross country ski's, shovel some snow, slap on a pair of snowshoes and walk around in a cedar swamp, pack up your ice fishing gear on a sled and pull it out on a lake and drill some holes in the ice, rent a snowmobile for the day, hit the ski slopes, clean the house, change and wash the sheets on your bed, take the dog for a long walk/jog, split some wood for the wood burner............who has time for a gym ?

That's the difference in the city folks of Warsaw and the Village people of Poland/U.S.
The city folk pay to exercise and the village people get paid to exercise.

No need for all that with this Sole machine, its bad to the bone. I only doing a couple of miles on level one and its a good workout for me. I cant imagine doing some of these advanced programs, perhaps 20 years ago...lol Ive only had it since Xmas so Ill build up more endurance.


I just sold a snowmobile last fall. You have no idea how busy I really am,,clean the house! LOLOL


Im turning into a gym little by little. Its almost impossible to find free weight now, unless you want to pay thru the nose for them.

Yes and they enforce it also,both nose and mouth covered at all times,no scarfs or shields either.

Ive had multiple weird instances i cluding a guy who tried brushing me to the wide to spar with this Ukrainian guy in the boxing class like hey its my turn move out of my way **** and the guy didnt even want to train with him either. Ive told my ex coach in Santa Cruz over messenger his behavior and he even swid he is unreasonable. the guy even tried to do it again and this time i didn't let him and made him wait till next round but the Ukrainian guy didn't want to even work with him or spar him. he just want up and was like let me get a round in and like got in front of me to go with the other guy than i put w stop to it the second time.

Yeah Buddy......go clean the shower, tub, toilets and sinks.

Then scrub the kitchen floor and vacuum the carpets.

You will use muscles you didn't know you had.

Paying to go to a gym is as stupid as it is to go to the market to buy apples when you have an apple tree in your front yard loaded with apples.

Im thinking of doing like some nogi jiu jitsu or mma class somewhere but im still soar because two days ago i went for the first time again in like a month and a half to this greco roman wrestling class and immplaying skyrim outside and its cold outside. its doubtful ill go for the 7 pm classes tonight. it seems to take me two dwys or even two in between days to recover now and i wonder if its the age if im getting up there or all the beer drinking i do?
