Yes

My favorite commie tv series is probably Žena za pultem (Kobieta za ladą - The woman behind the counter). Interesting structure and fun and clearly drawn characters and stories that don't always play out predictably.

I know that one plus the one about Hospital. I watched them but without being really engaged in the plot - because there was nothing more interesting om TV then. Today I return only to Arabela which was really funny.

(Pustina) was a masterpiece

If you liked Pustina you should watch Bez vědomí/The Sleepers. From the same production team and has the same hot actress in it :)

I compared two cities in CZ and PL close to the German border with about 20k population. Well I'd take Klatovy over Świnoujście any day. I guess I prefer stone towers/churches to bare brick ones. Somehow the houses also look better there and less commie flats in the center. It seems restoring kamienicas is last thing on Polish authorities' minds. Or Bohemua was always richer. The cathedral of Świnoujście also looks worse than the one in Klatovy. Too many Polish towns look like Most - the ugliest Czech one so maybe money is the reason. Polish girls are better looking though. ;)

Czechia is an absolutely lovely country. The only reservation I have is that whenever the sh*t hits the fan they tend to turn around, bend over and spread their butt cheeks rather invitingly.

Other than that, nice people.

they tend to turn around, bend over a

yes, but one could argue which approach is better. Czechs are relaxed about invasions but take pride in their intact Golden Prague. Poles are proud of their honour and have to rebuild Warsaw from the scratch in socialist fashion. Do you see the difference???

Poles are proud of their honour and have to rebuild Warsaw

Hmm... would I rather have...

1. ... razed buildings and my honour intact?
2. ... lovely buildings and my anus sore?

After much consideration I go for option 1.

Zaolzie was always a polish territory. Czechs can cry, we don't care.

Why not care? Its idiotic not to care? In situation when is well known that official Poland too often works against interests of Poland and for the higher interests of foreign factor.

Not to care is sh** message to Kashubs, Silesians, Lusatians, Lemki, etc. `You can cry but we would urinate you if you don`t share enthusiast of official Poland to work for non-Poland`s interests.`

Why would official Poland care even for Poland`s interests. There are Serbs, they still didn`t extinct. They can fight for interests of Poland. Then, there is Russia. Russia can fight and if it suits us we would accuse Russia for something. There will be something, friends from outside will give us idea.

That was official Poland prior to Duda. Now, official Poland care so you @Az010 speak for yourself.

Czech headline about Polish Prime Minister:

Polish version: migracyjny jastrząb Tusk. Co oznacza zwrot polskiego premiera???

Very similar.
Almost like the English of an aristocratic or royal Brit and the English of a plebeian redneck American.

  • Migration hawk Tusk.
