I've learned a few interesting things about my husband's last name Murzyn. One thing that's stuck in my thoughts is that the brigades came to Poland and accused the polish people of racism.

First I just wanted to say the last name I took from my husband is Murzyn. I read your post to him today about naming your cat and he said he wouldn't be insulted at all. He also stated that the color of a cats skin is white. It's the fur that's black. He always looks at things in a good way.
