Life / Why is women-hatred and stereotyping so popular in Poland? [177]

At what point does the vagina bestow personhood on that baby? Or is it the clitoris?

:)

You're too cruel, Novi. People's idiocy has to be shown to them in a gentle, sympathetic way. Otherwise they will pout and refuse to accept reality.

you gave it as an example of how you have time for your kids

I only mentioned my daughter in relation to homeworks. And you said that at 19:30 she should be in bed. She's 14. How many teenagers do you know that go to sleep at 7.30pm? :)

I'd rather we both worked and both took care of home and kids.

How about both spouses work 1 job each and share chores and raise kids.

But men, in most cases, are absolutely atrocious when it comes to house chores. For example, if I cooked for my family, they would end up in a hospital with serious indigestion problems, whilst my wife is absolutely brilliant at it (just as my mother-in-law by the way :)). Why not let her do what she's good at and let me do what I'm good at? Why does it have to be this strange and unnatural "equal" division of earning and house chores? I consider it inefficient and illogical. Sorry.

we live in such a materialistic society

Which probably has something to do with the fact that we live in a material world and have material needs.

Look, people, I don't want to argue about it - it's not like I'm for rat race or mindless materialism/consumerism. If I were a bachelor, I'd be more than happy to live in a basement, drive an absolute beater car (or even better - take trams and buses) and spend my time reading books and praying. The point is, being a father changes your perspective. Difficult to explain to someone who isn't, I suppose.

Anyways, I'll take what you're all saying into account and come October - when my remaining classes start - I'll definitely be here less often and using every free moment to be with my family; and if I post here, you can be sure I'll be getting paid for it (labs when students do most of the work, consultation hours to which nobody comes, tests, okienka etc.) ;)

Life / Why is women-hatred and stereotyping so popular in Poland? [177]

Obviously, you've never been a woman

Well, at least you got that right. :)

Without visible means of support, how then is an American family to support children they can't afford, huh, smarty pants??

What does that have to do with the idiotic sentence that "the Relgious right hates the child"?

If a single mother cannot support her child and can't count on any help from anywhere she can always give it for adoption. Anything is better than killing it.

The leftist approach is a bit like: "The mother is poor and can't afford all the cost - let's kill the child! She is a bit depressed with all the coming duties and resposibility - let's kill the child! The father is an irresponsible bum and he disappeared from the mother's life - let's kill the child!". Killing the child seems like the best solution to all the problems.

So, let me get this straight, Lyzko: the religious Right hates the child (that's why they want it to live) and the irreligious Left loves the child (that's why they want to kill it)? Is that it?

How about I feel like USA president

:)

Good one, Iron.

Or what if a girl identifies as a rich person trapped in a broke girl's body, and it causes a lot of distress in her life? I think she should have a finances transition operation (like $20 million transferred into her account or something). xD

@Paulina, @Lenka, @Feniks

You know what, guys? I was thinking about all that yesterday, I talked to my wife, and I have to say that not everything you wrote was complete and utter nonsense. I shall, therefore, reduce my working hours (a little!) and spend more time with my family.

I think I might be the first case in Internet history of somebody actually being convinced about something on a forum. :)

We'll keep in touch - I'll still check out co się tutaj odwala every now and then. Thanks for all the advice.

P.S. I'm still not doing any cooking. That's not even negotiable.

Things we hate

One thing that I really hate is monuments of Stepan Bandera.

Another thing that I really hate is spreading vicious rumours.

The worst thing happens when the two are combined. There are people spreading vicious rumours that after the war the eastern border of Ukraine will be decided by the location of easternmost Stepan Bandera monument (they are marked by blue dots on the map)...

1

2

... I really hate those vicious rumours about Bandera's monuments but maybe (just maybe) Ukraine should build a couple of more of them, slightly farther to the east - just in case.

News / Poles say a big YES to our European Union [957]

if we distribute them properly amongst the member states

How exactly do you propose to do that? I mean not only "distributing" them but also making them stay where they are.

When they get to the EU - and most of them want to go to Germany, France, Netherlands or Scandinavia - how do you propose to keep them in Bulgaria, Romania or Poland? Tie them on a chain? Lock them in closed camps? How?

News / Poles say a big YES to our European Union [957]

they can only claim benefits in the country they are allocated to

It wouldn't solve the problem. You are already assuming that most of them would claim benefits but what about those who want to work? Wages in Bulgaria are not the same as in Ireland, and I bet most of them would rather give up Romanian benefits to live and work in Germany or Belgium.

So, for the overwhelming majority of immigrants the question still remains the same - how do you keep them in poorer countries of the EU?

We observed the problem very well with the first wave. Poland took in some of them, local parishes found them flats/houses to stay in, helped them find jobs and they got Polish benefits (much lower than, for example, German ones). In a matter of weeks most of them went to Germany anyway.

We can't have any viable distribution scheme as long as wages/benefits are not very similar all over the EU, and it's not going to happen in predictable future.

News / Poles say a big YES to our European Union [957]

Solve for equilibrium.

Hey, I'm just trying to establish how Tacitus plans to solve this "migrant distribution" problem.

As for mass immigration to Europe, I'm definitely against it. Well, at least to the countries that had no colonies. If a country had colonies in Africa and exploited African people for centuries, then they deserve everything they get when it comes to immigration. The same applies to South America and Asia. I see it as a sort of historical justice: greedy c*nts who enslaved and exploited millions of people in Africa, South America, India or Pakistan will eventually become minorites in their own countries because for some reason migrant women, as opposed to native Europeans, still retained their maternal instinct. It's a perfect justice, almost Godly one might say. Pan Bóg nierychliwy, ale sprawiedliwy - as wise Poles say. :)

History / What should Russia and Poland do to become if not friends, then at least not enemies? [934]

I would just like to point out that while nazism was indubitably a horrible ideology and an aberration of common sense and human decency, not everything connected with it was totally nonsensical or wrong.

For example, this noble slogan - "Kinder, Küche, Kirche" - provided it doesn't entail any coercion and is simply an expression of a certain ideal, should not be frowned upon or disparaged. Actually, I like the slogan so much that I might even be tempted to have the letters KKK tattooed on my shoulder if it wasn't for the fear that the acronym might be misunderstood by some quick-to-conclusion-jumping people.

If a woman chooses the ideal of family values (Kinder), taking care of their health as well as creating and keeping alive the flame of familial love (Küche) whilst not forgetting the chief end of every human being in worshiping our Lord Jesus Christ (Kirche), she should definitely be praised for her choice as it is infinitely more valuable for society in the long run than the opposite ideal of a 40 year-old childless spinster, with a "career" in shuffling papers and - in the best case scenario - a PhD on 17th century Latvian cutlery that nobody read (except herself and bored reviewers).

What annoys me, on the other hand, are half-witted female organisms who very often like to belittle great women who choose KKK instead of a "career" or "self-fulfillment". Any leftist female organism who makes a full-time mother and wife feel bad about herself and her choice is surely deserving a place in the lowest circle of hell.

Küche means 'kitchen' not vag1na...

Thanks for the linguistic tip.

for many generations most Polish women have gone to work while raising families

Because Polish men died in wars and uprisings and it was Polish women who kept the flame alive whilst the men were dying, being imprisoned or exiled. Polish history 101.

they're less eager to do that now

We can thank all the leftard propaganda and silly Hollyforest movies for that. Also, the quality of men would also seem to decrease recently. Perhaps the Church should allow polygamy for decent men to have more wives (and automatically also more children) whilst pedały w rurkach or irresponsible bums would remain honorary members of their incel clubs forever. Hmm... a thing for the Pope to consider. :)

History / What should Russia and Poland do to become if not friends, then at least not enemies? [934]

@Paulian

Sure, kids are not our clones. However, a person who has children has a better chance of passing on his/her values onto them than a childless person does - that's all I'm saying.

I don't know of anyone who would belittle women who choose to stay at home

Apparently you don't spend too much time browsing the Polish internet; it is full of idiots making fun of "madki" and their "kaszojady". Women who decide to stay at home and raise children are called parasites, patologia, pińcetplusy etc. And it is often done by either half-witted female organisms or quarter-witted male incel organisms.

More interesting though is why you perceive that women are academically less able than men.

I never said anything of the kind. The example of a worthless PhD on Latvian cutlery (or something equally important), the pursuit of which made such person abandon the plans of starting a normal family, was intended to show the pointlessness of the current civilisational model in which "career" of "self-fullfilment" are promoted and encouraged in popular culture whilst stay-at-home mums are often belittled and disparaged. What the popular culture offers in return for family life is a huge lie that will make a lot of people miserable in the end. But sure - as you said: it's everybody's individual choice.

You strike me as being a very narrow-minded individual to be honest.

Well, some people are so open-minded that their brain falls out, so I'll take that as a compliment. :)

History / What should Russia and Poland do to become if not friends, then at least not enemies? [934]

a whole generation was trained to believe that kids = poverty

Exactly.

Our grandparents used to say: Bóg dał dzieci, da i na dzieci, so our parents were born - a huge post-war demographic peak - and then we were born (an echo of that peak). Unfortunately, then the mass indoctrination started (literature, TV, movies, popular press, later the internet as well) and the whole generation is brainwashed into thinking that having children is an obstacle on their way to "self-realisation", "fulfillment" or "career".

History / What should Russia and Poland do to become if not friends, then at least not enemies? [934]

I should marry someone for a few years, get some kids, then go back to living life as I've become used to it.

:)

Well, if you do that before the kids are adults, then it will probably hurt them immensely, so you'll be stuck with their mother for at least 18 years (that's why being in love with the woman helps).

But of course you are right - the later you enter into a relationship with a woman, the more difficult it is. You both already have your various, sometimes strange, habits and customs and the older you are the more difficult it is to adjust to tolerating the other person's idiosyncrasies (and here, again, love helps a bit).

Mid 30s is a bit late to start a family but definitely not too late. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you, Bobi.

The time to do a quick deal was late teens and twenties.

Well, I won't deny that. My wife was 19 and I not much older when we met. Got married four years later and we're still together.

Adjust your criteria a bit:

1. 32-34 is still not too bad, if you decide to have kids right away.
2. In mid-30s she is bound to have been married before; not necessarily a disadvantage.
3. Languages-shmanguages. Love is a universal language :)
4. Intelligent, OK, but is education that important? Adjust this point.
5. I have a friend who married a girl from an orphanage. I don't even know how many times he told me that she's the best wife he could ever hope to have.

6. Irrelevant. Even better if she's not spoilt too much by luxury in childhood/adolescence.
7. Well, you can keep this point as it is. Man must have some pleasure in life. :)

that your ovaries speaking

Come on, Iron. Don't you find constant arguing with women a bit below your dignity? If they insult you, say "thank you" and just don't continue. If you do it makes you look like you care.

You're a man. Value your dignity. Value your time. Value your amazing man-awesomeness.

So, you think that Lenka and me were insulting Ironside too?

I don't know and I don't care. All I know is that constant arguing with you makes him look bad, and I like the guy, so I don't want him to look bad.

You think that Iron has the same views as those men?

I've only just browsed through your post #148 now. I don't care about those guys; they sound like a bunch of mythomans, sociopaths or - in the best case scenario - dirty old men (JKM). All I want is for Iron to act with dignity and stop arguing with you and Lenka.

Do you agree with their views?

No.

I don't argue with them Torq. I'm studing them.

If that's the case, then carry on. :) I thought you were genuinely arguing with them. My mistake.

standing up in defence of a woman, special treatemnt for women

Actually, I quite enjoy the basics: opening the door for women, standing up when my female colleague walks into the staff room and/or approaches my armchair to talk to me, helping women with carrying heavy objects, being charmant and knightly towards my wife even if we have difficult moments etc. It allows me to do the right thing despite circumstances whilst at the same time celebrate my amazing man-awesomeness. Those things weren't invented for women, they were invented for us, to shape our conduct and carve our character.

don't be sexist Torq

I'm not. I'm just being man-awesome.

You think women should open door for men and carry heavy objects for us? Geez... I really wouldn't go that far. ;)
