Travel / Which Poland's city is LGBT friendly? [43]

@pawian

Please don't teach the historian about period he has study. Better read about, first maybe something easy, like Kershaw? And then we can discuss a little about "crisis" and "liberal middle class". OK?

Thanks.

USA, Canada / Historic(al) Americans and their ties with Poland/Poles [78]

I love to think, but in historical research I give priority to sources. And yes, in this case we have notes from Helena and for example Henryk Sienkiewicz, who was one of originator her journey to America. Simple, isn't it? :-)

Notes, letters and memories are compatible - Modrzejewska just couldn't bear no longer atmosphere in artistical Warsaw, especially jealousy from other actress. Sienkiewicz quote about this situation was: "Every who steps out is hammered in head. You don't realise how I hate and contemn this harlot which is called public eye".

So even in partitioned Poland not all decisions resulted from political reasons. Simple, isn't it? :-)

My advice - don't think too much if You are not good in it :-)

So off topić like writing about "decent middle class" in threat " Which Poland's city je LGBT friendly". I've just answered this ahistorical storytelling about nature of middle class, nothing more.

Khem, in 30's support from "middle class" was a key to victory od NSDAP im Germany. So your "decent" theory is faaaar from historical truth.

Yes!

I could say: not always - you can hit somebody in this point completely accidentaly.
Or this point can be e.g. his sense of responsibility and he will do something when he is not in mood, but it will not hurt him a lot :-)

Sapkowski is overrated for me. Like Harry Potter. There are some literary fads in which perish literature good, but from outside this trends.

Ale już chyba za dużo ględzimy o tym co nie dotyczy tematu, c'nie?

@biginpoland

I'm afraid my answer is too late, but: you can use in KM and WKD trains ZTM tickets which are valid for period not shorter than one day. The only exception are KM trains Okęcie - Modlin.

Sapkowski - not bad but I know many equal good if not better.

Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett in "Good omens": Explanation for Londoners and other urban forms of life. This is really great piece of inteligent very joyful literature :-D

And as I have written I'm non-urban form od life. You know, wooden house and tile stove.

And what with a goat has come to cart? Was it in this threat?

Of course, you are perfectly right. But I used colloquial expression where a bumble bee is called bąk. Yes, a horse fly would be better.

But in this saying bąk is neither bumble bee, nor horse fly. Try again Pawian :-)
