Same here. Today atleast i got to select the date but after that got appointment booked for this date choose other. Don't know why they displayed that date in drop down when it was already booked.

Your appointment was on 14th Oct in Mumbai..whereas your passport is issued from north. Just wanted to check how did it go? Did they consider that?

They're saying like the soft copy can also do the job. But i am not sure as i have read in other threads that hard copy is required.

I am skeptical because it's been 6 months since i am waiting for this and have reached till work permit that too haven't received properly. Just a snapshot of it on whatsapp.

It's time to switch the company now and i don't know how long it'll take as visa appointment is another pain.

Don't know why these companies are hiring international candidates when they have this type of immigration arrangements.

There is a high chance of getting nothing in the end after wasting a year in waiting. As travel has to be done within 3 months of permit issued. So count down has already started. If it doesn't happen it'll take another couple of month to get it extended. and then again the visa and all.

I see. It's been how many days when the permit was issued? Because as per my knowledge the hard copy should reach in 10-15 days.

In my case i haven't even received the proper soft copy. They just sent me one snapshot of it. Which has made me skeptical about the whole process itself.

Don't know whether i am wasting my time with this or should look for other opportunities or stick with this.

Hi,

I discussed this with my future employer to go for appointment in Mumbai embassy, he's insisting to go for Delhi only as that's the way they do this and it's not possible to go to any other consulate, he said.

Anyways when do you have the appointment? Please update me if it worked for you.
I don't understand how they do this with so much constraints in booking the visa appointment.

One more thing, do we need to have original work permit hard copy for the appointment? or the soft copy will do?

I am not able to book appointment in delhi trying since 2 months.

Now since the work permit has been issued the count down starts to get it ASAP. need to travel before 3months.

I see. In my case they've to conduct a client interview once i am travel ready, post that they'll release offer letter. Meanwhile they've signed an undertaking and initiated the work permit process. There India office is in touch with me. Also they've asked to start trying to book an appointment by the time permit arrives. But i am not sure had i been booked a slot by now i wouldn't have permit to attend the interview. Not sure what's going on. or whether to rely on them. It's all luck from now on.

Great. I know that i have to be patient from day one. But the question is how much. So Rob what was the total time taken from the day process started till you reached Poland? considering, getting work permit then visa appointment then offer letter then serving notice period and flying.

Hi, I too haven't received my work permit yet..it was applied in mid april by my future employer, it's going to be around 4 months now..getting very impatient. How about you? did you get it?
