Hi, thanks for your replies - they were very helpful. Unfortunately, I am unable to say where his home city is as that might identify me on here. Yes, that is a good point about finding a way out if the relationship doesn't work out. Not going to take such a big step unless I am 100% sure that things will work out ok.

Love / English woman with a Polish partner - may need to move to Poland soon [6]

Hi, I am in a dilemma as I met a lovely Polish man who is working here (been with him for over a year now) & I have visited his home city, met his family (3 times) & I absolutely love it there. However, he would naturally like to return to Poland to live & work sometime soon & has asked me to come with him. Therein lies the dilemma as I am very slowly learning Polish so I am not sure how I could find work there. I also have two grown up children so I would be leaving them which would be extremely hard but I obviously do not want to be apart from my partner either. Anyone else been through this or can offer any advice?
