Study / Polish language school, Sopot. Opinions? [2]

I'm considering a 2-months intensive summer course, preferably in the North. Found an offer from one private school in Sopot - Polish Language School. Anybody who's done it there? How is the quality of teaching?

Study / Opinions about free vocational schools in Poland [3]

Szkoły policealne in Poland offer a 1- or 2-year training for free (or very low fee). It's in Polish,
obviously, and gives you set of skills to work in EU. Mostly technical jobs, basic IT, some design, medical caregiver, administrative civil service.. Anybody with experience?

Law / Getting a PESEL without registration in Poland [7]

I know that they give you PESEL when you get your meldunek. My current apartment most likely will be my temporary until some time mid year. I'm not registered in it. I read about a possibility to get a PESEL based on some regulation from minister cyfracji and without zameldowanie. Can anybody explain how it works?

Language / Polish slang phrases - most popular. [606]

"Blat" is the word you mean. As opposed to soft "l" in "blyat". To have a "blat" means to be connected, to know people who can help you out or get you whatever you want that other people can't get. The word is from 80s 90s and is not really used these days.. Well, maybe still in Russia haha..
