For those outside the US, note that the budget bill passed a few days ago includes some serious extra taxes on foreign shareholders of US assets, up to 5 percent increases each year for 4 years.

It's a weird policy since Golden Cow wants to encourage inward investment to the US, but I am a bit skeptical that he read the 1000 pages of the bill

Ukraine does want to make a deal - they agreed to a ceasefire, agreed the mineral thing, turned up for peace talks.

Nothing has been agreed for the Vatican next week - North Nigeria has not said that they will attend. The only person who has mentioned the Vatican is Golden Cow who seems completely detached from reality these days.
