Just more nonsense from you. Russia is facibg a severe demographic crisis, particulary in its border provinces to China. Poland's demographic outlook is also rather depressing. Few children, and those continue to leave for Western Europe. And as for the much praised Russian "resistance" and willpower. They watched as Putin made himself dictator. What makes you think that they showed more than apathy towards other things?

The rest of your post is as usual primitive rambling. If you are confortabke painting Slavs as closer to apes than humans, so be it. At the very least, they have according to you more in conmon with muslim "invaders" than with other Europeans.

And how is this in any way relevant for Russia's long-term future?

Rich Russians are investing the money they stole from their countrymen in London to keep it safe from Putin of they ever were to fall out of favour with him. The oil is still not as high as Russia needs it. The money Putin wastes on foreign adventures will be sorely missed within the next decade when Russia needs to invest into its' infrastructure. What happens when a leader wastes money so inefficiently can best be seen with Venezuela. Putin is simply living from the substance of the short boom at the beginning of his term. Like many other Russian leaders before him, he has no long-term strategy, which will cost him his short-term gains in the long run. Putin is weak. He'll not have to deal with the fallout of his actions, but successor will be in a horrible position. A failing economy, demographic collapse, no reliable allies in the West, an emerging China in the East that will attempt to regain lost territory in the 19th century. A disaster in the making.

Federalism was not really imposed on Germany. Naturally the Allies had an interest in promoting a decentralised government as democratic safeguard, but many leading German politicians like Adenauer and Schumacher believed that the new Germanx should have a federal structural. Incidently this was a return back to German roots so to speak. The constitution of Imperial Germany (and before that the HRE) were incredibly federalized. The Weimar Republic was the odd reception really.

A big fat NOTHING.

On the contrary. The West ensured that this - like all other foreign endeavours of Putin - was yet another Pyrrhic victory in the long run. Putin has now annexed Crimea and controls a small part of the Ukraine. The rest of the country is now mentally lost to Russia, likely permanently. He delivered the USA and Europe a geostrategic victory few would have thought possible before 2014.

Russia controlled 30 years ago half of Europe. 4 years ago it still had its' puppet in Kiev. Now it has only control were its' soldiers stand, and they are losing groubd in the long run.

Russia under Putin is in no way an example to follow for the West, and is lagging behind in any possible indicator. And even the biggest army of internet trolls will not change this perception.

I mean seriously. Russia has ten times more murders per Citizen than Germany and you fantasize here about crime statistics.

No, they don't

Yes they do. Anyone who ever travelled to Russia and stayed their for a time can tell you this. This is really just a stupid argument. Are perceptions really that warped that some people believe that Russia is in any way safer than Germany? Really, the country that is run by oligarchs and KGB agents?

Amazing how much propaganda can warp facts and perceptions.

That's a quote from a propaganda talking points manual.

No, you'd find those sentences in any dictionary.

Nobody cares that gay boys shower with men, and lesbians with women, so what is the problem here?

But merkel wants a federal Europe with non elected leaders Just like China,

A federal Europe would certainly not have unelected leaders. Even in its' current form, the EU de facto government (the EU commission) is confirmed by the EU parliament which in return is directedly elected by the European people.

They implement the same socialist bs today

Please stop talking about things you have no clue about. It is fine if you don't know anything about how the GDR was run, but making painfully obvious wrong comparisons is just embarassing for other readers who do know what they are talking about.

Russia has nothing but an obersized army and nukes. No innovation, no competetive economy, and its best and brightest are leaving for the West in droves. Russia has no future in its' current. The whole system will come crashing down after Putin retires at the very last.

As Merkel brilliantly pointed out back then. Russia has nothing, no successful politics or economy. All they have is this. Putin is losing the long game and he knows it, but he also knows that he won't be alive once Russia has to pay the price for his policies.

any nationalism or patriotism leads straight to gas chambers

There are few Germans who still believe. Most of us -explified by Merkel- have a healthy patriotism nowadays. There are simply times when waving flags is inappropiate e.g. when Merkel did not accept the flag during the election party. Coincidently I noticed that the louder politicians pledge their allegiance to the flag and Christian, the less likely they are to live up to this. Trump and the Republicans are the best example.

nihilistic people don't have many children

Germany is doing far better in this regard that the more openly religious Poland though.

both are on video, both are facts

What Merkel did with the flag was entirely appropiately given the situation which I have explained several times now. I know Americans can be ignorant about the cultural differences between their country and others, but pls try and keep up. I know repeating lies even after they have been proven wrong is one of Trumps M.O. but I like to think that we have higher standards on this forum.

As for the police incident, do you realize how silly it is to use this as exemplary for the situation in Germany? Or should we use pictures of police violence against blacks as prove for systematicdiscrimination against black people in the USA?

I wonder if it even makes sense replying to your nonsense anymore. You still repeat your arguments even after someone points to out time and time again how utterly wrong they are. Though I guess that explains why you like Trump so much.

I am not talking about here and now BB

Let us just hope for Poland that in 50 years, the emigration imbalance will not be as high as it is now ;)

devastated political landscape with a destroyed SPD

The decline of the SPD can hardly be blamed solely on Merkel. Schröder's Agenda 2010, Lafontaine's personal vendetta and the incompetence of various SPD leaders are the main reason for the decline of the once great party. It is not the responsibility of any politician to ensure that their political opponent stays relevant or powerful.

birth of a far right party trying to fill the vacuum

The AfD has so far done very little to fill this "vacuum". They only stand for a resistance against the refugee policy, but when Weidel was recently asked in an interview regarding other topics, she merely stated that "the party still needs to decide on those issues." I doubt that they will reclaim much ground from the CDU here. Many "conservative" values are simply toxic for elections, because they are utterly out of touch with Germans.

, which grows in every survey

Thanks to the CSU. The truth is that the refugee crisis was calming down, and with it the AfD was stagnating, until Seehofer made it relevant again. It is insanity, really. We have so many more pressing issues, yet they decide to bring up this again. The emergence of a far-right wing party in Germany was always only a matter of time. All it needed was an excuse, and the refugee crisis delivered one. If not for that, something else would have come up. Germany is not immune to trends that have also happened in other countries.

Merkel-Republic to favorable.

We shall see. Though future historians will no doubt be baffled about how much the refugee crisis dominated European and German headlines compared to ttue scale of the problem. Nevertheless I am grateful that at very least, Merkel-Germany will serve as a shining contrast to the rest of Europe. Particulary the CDU owes a huge debt to Merkel. The CDU failed the last time when it came to making a tough, but in hindsight obbviously right decision when it opposed Brandt's Ostpolitik. At least now as a CDU member I won't have to look back in shame on history in 30 years from now.

And by this logic you're completely okay with Putin's and Erdogan's policies of becoming presidents for life.

Sure, if the people kept voting for them in free and fair elections and if those had not changed the political system to gain power, then yes, there would be little to argue against their desire to stay in power. Especially in a decentralized political system where the influence of the federal government is limited to begin with.

every possible successor got killed with a charming smile

This is just one of the many-repeated myths about Merkel. She certainly failed - like every chancellor before her- to build up a suitable successor, but she is not exclusively to blame for this. It is for example not her fault that Guttenberg copied his dissertation from someone else, or that von der Leyen failed to live up to expectations. Most of her successors/rivals offed themselves.

There is discussion in Germany about a by law limited te

I hope this does not go through. We don't need term limits in a Parliamentary system which makes it possible for a chancellor to be removed by elections and through the parliament. The need for coalitions is a further check and balance system, because losing support of the coalition partner can also end a chancellor.

Merkel's third term is the best proof against this theory. The way she handled the Ukraine and Debt crisis was a masterstoke in diplomacy. I would not have wanted to have anyone else negotiating with Putin.

History / Whom do the people in Poland hate more: Germans or Russians? [869]

How many wars in Europe did Germany start or participate in in the last 200 years?

Not really more than any other major European power during this time.

The better question is, when was the last time Germany threatened Eastern Europe militarily? 1945.

And how often since then has Russia crushed uprisings against its' rule in Eastern Europe, annexed territory there or formented civil war?

News / Poles march against Mandatory poisoning by vaccines [202]

How mush is a teeny weenie amount of mercury times 65 ?

Are you really this ignorant, or are you doing this on purpose? We are talking about such small traces of mercury that even 1000 vaccines would not cause any harm.

As this thread demonstrates, many people have apparantly no idea how statistics and percentages work.

I do not remember this causing massive rates of measles, munos and whatever else it is.

Because the vast majority is still vaccinated. Once the nunber of vaccinated people drops below a certain threshold, you will see yet again outbreaks of those diseases.
Tacitus

News / Poles march against Mandatory poisoning by vaccines [202]

Almost no one dies from those diseases because of vaccines. And behind the number of deaths are several times more people who have lasting damage done to them by those diseases. Measles et al are not harmless.

This discussion really shows why vaccinations should be mandatory. There are no solid arguments against vaccination, and all its' opponents can do is making silly claims.

News / Poles march against Mandatory poisoning by vaccines [202]

Many people keep underestimating "child diseases". Measles is a potentially deadly disease, and the worst thing about it, it doesn't kill quickly. After symptomes of the complications emerge, it takes several years until the child dies. Parents have to watch as their child becomes unsreponsive, eventually falls into a coma and dies, all the while knowing that a simple vaccination could have prevented it.

Actually more and more Poles aren't vaxxing their kids.

Those are very bad news. Not vaccinating children is nothing less than child abuse. You condemn your child to unneeded suffering and potential health risks.

high levels of thimerosal

When I got my vaccines as a baby

Vaccines are much safer than they used to be 30 years ago. They are not given instantly, we still have to wait several months. Which is another reason why vaccination should be obligatory, babies depend on herd protection until they are vaccinated. Hopefully we can one day vaccinate babies immediately after their birth and spare them from most diseases.

Anti-Vaccine movements are the best proof that a society does not become smarter simply because of scientific advancements. People simply like conspiracy theories. I hope most Poles are smarter than this.

News / An article: NATO is the American occupation of Poland and Europe, by Mateusz Piskorski [233]

@johnny reb

And how much does Europe spend of their defense budget on the defense of the U.S.A. ?

Quite a lot actually. The USA is the only the country who has invoked support by the Nato. That US politicians still have the nerve to complain after so many Europeans died or have been wounded for them in Afghanistan is very telling.
