Language / Which books do native Polish people in Poland use to learn Polish? [72]

ah, i'm learning with english tailored materials & after enough fluency is built, thinking of focusing on polish only texts. i'd like to learn how write the same thing in multiple ways & not butcher the language, the exceptions, when to use what, inspiration from creative writers (i'm an artist & would like to start with polish instead of having to translate from english), et cetera.

i'm also curious if the book reflects the dialect or if there is a standard & the dialects for native polish people are mainly unwritten offically. your general opinion on books would be much appreciated, Mickiewicz is the most recommended writer so far.

Genealogy / Typical Polish Eye Color [77]

Mag gotta be trollin, in general poles are mostly white & i'm from the west siiide *hits it up* lól ya Lyzko it's dat "r1a1" (blonde blue eyed w/ nose pointing down) & "i" (blonde blue eyed w/ nose pointing up) dna haplogroups that lend to that trend. i can also see some ancient celt influence (r1b dna aka ginger) in some areas like Kielce (even a rumor that's where the name came from). Polska to piękny kraj :)

the eyes are such a spectacular sight to behold & you get to see into the soul, i've studied why people have certiant types & where they come from (look up "haplogroup dna map" for something interesting). my eyes are mainly green with a deep blue ring around the outside & a small spot of brown in the middle. do you see heterochomia around much or is it pretty rare for you too?
