My grandmother is here visiting from Lodz, Poland and I am asking questions about my father. She mentioned that many years ago (I was already in the US) a man came to my grandmother's apartment and asked for my great grandmother. Also, when my grandmother went to obtain a signature from my father so that I could leave Poland, she did not find my father, only his brother, who told her that my father was planning to leave Poland and move to Germany, which is where his mother lived. Slawomir Jerzy Sadkowska and Zbigniew, his brother, were both planning to move to Germany and close the mechanic business.

Yes i am definitely a Sadkowska. Its on my Polish birth certificate. My mother's maiden name is Bilska. Not to mention I lived in Poland until I was 8 years old and that is how I always spelled it. I have been losing my mind searching for Slawek online. I don't understand how someone can avoid existing on the internet. Unless they are going out of their way not to be found. Which doesn't seem like my father.

I will also try to contact maja. I found a slawomir sadkowska on facebook a few years ago, but unfortunately that was not my father. I have a photo of him holding me when i was a baby. I'm not sure if I would recognize him after so many years. He is 6'1". Blue eyes, dark blonde hair.

He was running his parent's businesses, that was in the 80's. Mom doesn't know what businesses. She knows that Slawomir's mother remarried after their father passed, moved to Germany. Mom doubts he is still running those businesses.

My mother and father were divorced when I was 4 years old. I have been searching for my father online for many years. His name is not online in the searches. My mom and I moved to Germany, she remarried to an American, and I have been in the US since I was 8 years old. It find it very strange that my father's name does not show up in google search. I hope he is alive and doing well. My father disowned me when my mother moved to Germany. He did not want to pay child support as my mother explained. I have no ill will against my father.
