Wow holy ****, I can't believe what I walked into on this website. I'm an American who was trying to find info about marrying my Korean girlfriend and somehow stumbled on this xenophobic ********. I've never been to Poland before but there is no way in hell that you people are representative of the population.
I swear, I still have a feeling that I am being trolled. Some of the **** you people are saying are so insanely ignorant and wrong that no educated person would ever be able to even think those things about a whole race of people.
Do you "proud white poles" know who the highest earning ethnic group in the US is? Indian Americans at $86k average per year. They earn ~10k higher than the second highest, filipino americans. Brit americans are down at 5 and polish americans are all the way down at 32. In fact, the highest earning race in the US is Asian Americans followed by pacific islanders
and then whites. Indians in American are a model minority. On average they get into the best schools, have no legal or drug problems and go on to enter very high powered professions. The CEO of google is an Indian who was born and spent most of his life in India. The CEO of Pepsi is an Indian women who also spent most of her life growing up in India. The CEO of Microsoft,
again, is an Indian who spent most of his life growing up in India. MasterCard, Adobe and Harmon are just a few other Fortune 500 companies with Indians as their CEO's and if you head to Silicon Valley you will see Indians and Asians pretty much dominating every strata of the US tech industry which pretty much means they are dominating the world tech industry. Hell, Indians are considered so good that universities have actually been accused of not letting in qualified people into their university because if they did then there would be too many Indians compared to whites.
So I'm really damn baffled by how Indians on the other side of the ocean are literally becoming one of the most powerful groups in the most powerful/influential country in the world and over here you people are talking about them like animals and treating them worse than dogs.
I have had the fortune of going to India once for a business trip and there is no mistake that India is still a developing country. There are a lot of infrastructural and old cultural habits that need to be changed for India to become a first world country, but this is the same exact thing that every single other country has ever been through. Do you think Poland was always some beautiful Utopia? Following WW2 Poland was in shambles after fighting off a foreign power, much the same way that India was in shambles at the end of WW2 fighting of the shackles of British colonialism that had held their country for a
century. Poland was paid 4.7 billion zloty for their troubles, the Indians were paid nothing. Right before the british started influencing India at the end of the 17th century India held at a low estimate 25% of the
world's GDP. But no reparations were given...
Either way, the past is the past and I hardly think it's fair for the current UK citizens to pay for the wrongdoing of their forefathers. That being said though, the stupid, ignorant comments I'm reading on here are just absolutely ******* pathetic. India's GDP has grown over 4% more every year for the past 10 compared to Poland, UK and the US. If you can't see what a difficulty journey India has had and how it has started coming back from that that you are even stupider, close-minded bigots than I thought.
