Travel / Behavior of Polish travellers on Planes. [72]

My experience of travelling with Poles is very different from yours.

I would agree you have label an entire country of people rude from a single situation. Look at us in the US, we provide an endless supply of EU offenses when we travel but not all of us are incoherent drunks and idiots.

Life / Africans in Poland and diversity [60]

DO people here think that if i want Poland be diverse, i'm trolling???

Why you go on and be diverse in Africa??? Last time I heard Africa wasn't Europe. And just because some Polish girl turned you down doesn't mean all Poles are prejudiced ever think maybe she doesn't like you!

Love / I want to find a Polish girl and get married to her. Your advice can change my life. [34]

Hi, I am a Polish woman 29, single and attractive.

You can be sure hes a troll, any guy asking for advice on how to meet a girl on this forum isn't worth your email.Besides that did you notice that the original post is from 2011. There are better ways to meet an English speaking guy from a worthwhile county such as the US, New Zealand or the UK unless you like those guys from the middle east who are poor, dirty and want to make some Polish white girl miserable so they can get a visa.

News / Don't let Poland become like my country, France. [630]

Non muslims immigrants don't want islamification.

In my opinion the only way for western Europeans to prevent this from happening and the end to their genealogy as they know it, is by having more babies:0)

You are probably right, it's only a matter of time before the next big bombing and the French can do nothing to prevent or advert it. It's a sad situation, why can't they do good instead of bad, it would make it easier to turn western Europe into a land of Islam then trying to blow them up, it only makes the natives angry!

Love / Virtual Relationship of an Asian girl with a Polish man [43]

He's just a regular guy here in the US all you have to do is say Hi. I'm sure he will get it if he is interested. I don't think just because he's Polish means he isn't like every other guy here in the US. We like when girls come up to us and say "Hi". You really don't have to do anything really special.

News / Should Poland exit the EU immediately? [375]

Poland will again be a middle player between two big factions Russia to the east and to the west the "Land of Islam" Western Europe, it will have no choice to leave the EU in order to stay a sovereign nation of it's own people.

News / Don't let Poland become like my country, France. [630]

If you read the original post some 4 years ago this seems like deja vu when you consider the bombings and shootings in France. In a way the OP predicted it and didn't even know it. It true most of Western Europe is becoming the nation of Islam, time for them to start tearing down those old relics of western achievements, IE. the Louvre, Eiffel Tower and the Arc de Triomphe and build some tributes to the world of Islam. Those tributes that reflect the real multiculturalism of New western Europe. Next stop Islamerica. Integration THEY don't know the definition of the word. Now if you could just stop them from having babies and over-populating the world and inter-marrying both the US and Europe might have a chance from turning into a nation of Islam. I find the religion worthless and utterly contemptible.

Feedback / Is it Polish forum or foreign forum? [159]

And by the way, they call themselves black 'say it loud, I'm black and I'm proud'.

Atch, as an individual whose general genetic make up could be defined as "black" I think the use of the term is still acceptable but a more acceptable term up-and coming would be to refer to an individual as a "person of color" which would have a encompass the melting pot of color that has become the USA.

USA, Canada / American Father raising a boy in Poland - or maybe USA would be the better place? [12]

tonysax

Hi tonysax,

We live in the Los Angeles area and my wife is Polish. I have lived here in the USA all of my life and after visiting Poland I have found that family means more in Poland than here in the US especially in Los Angeles. You don't say what the circumstances are regarding your relationship with the baby's mother except the child was unplanned. It's my opinion that the relationship with the child's mother is something that you have to think about first. You are here and she is in Poland carrying your child and what happens between both of you needs to be decided before you can decide what the best home situation for a child. This is my opinion but I think raising the child in Poland will give the child a sense of who they are and where they came from. The child will learn Polish and have family that will support, (you stated that your family here do not support you in this situation which is unfortunate and is one more reason not to support being in LA; they should celebrate the child's life A CHILD NOT A MISTAKE), and care for them. LA is the harsh reality of the bright lights going nowhere and having nothing. Many of our children struggle with acceptance, obesity, learning and many other situations that the child will not encounter being raised in Poland.

I hope that you and the mother are able to communicate and choose the best situation for the sake of the child and all the best in your decision which must weigh heavily upon you.

Love / Indian citizen wants to marry Polish Girl and get settled there. [107]

I am happy that I belong to India as We Indians always welcome to all.

If India is so great how come no body wants to come to India? It's an impoverished country with too many people and everyone wanting to leave to something better.

Life / Poor hygiene of people in public places in Poland [46]

I'm from the South and I would never go to Africa, my daddy would just about have a heart attack.
I couldn't imagine a bigger, smellier cesspool than Africa.

Where do you keep your Confederate flag? And if you didn't know it the the "South" in America is full of directly imported Africans, so you are already there. Did your daddy own a plantation? Me think you are a "Troll" looking for a reaction, someone on this forum can't be this close minded or be real.

Life / Poor hygiene of people in public places in Poland [46]

Wait, why would I use Poland to feel better about myself?
Um, I'm American?

I'm sorry to hear that, there are plenty of smelly Americans, maybe you just your nose so far up you American behind you really can't smell anyone else. I found the Polish people dress, act and smell much better than my fellow Americans. Obviously you are one of those privileged Americans who has never been on a public bus or train. You need to do some charity work so maybe you won't be so concerned how someone smells.

Los Angeles isn't a beautiful place, but if you'd actually visited Opole...you wouldn't be breathing fresh air ;)

Well I bet the air in Opole is fresher than we have in LA.. What gets me all the people to come to Los Angeles for a vacation. Are they crazy??? Opole may be a dump but have you seen our TRASH?

Carly,

I Google'd your little town, (to us it's village actually), and it looks absolutely charming. I'm from L.A. and well everything is always greener on the other side. I'd give anything to be a smaller less busy atmosphere where things were slow and there's no traffic and you can breath fresh clean air. I hope that you are able to enjoy the solitude and clean country living for now at least.

Life / Why are Polish people such hypocrites about immigration? [36]

Polish people bring their papist religion though, which is pagan. Not that it matters.
I am a Christian by the way even though my parents are from India.
Lebonese Christians are not welcome in Poland anyway.
Poland is hypocritical, and in truth, NOT a christian nation, but a pagan one.

This sounds very judgmental which isn't very "Christian" at all. I'd say your Christianity is worthless because who are you to judge another man walk with Christ.

History / WWII - who really was the first to help Poland? [901]

Warwicktiger is right here. Stalin held the chips, the Americans (with a President who was half dead and didn't last long after it) were unwilling to help Poland (if anyone 'sold' Poland, it was America) and Britain tried but were blocked by our American 'allies'. Plus the country was in ruins.

I'm an American and I agree with this statement. The only reason the US entered the war was if Germany wasn't defeated the US would be next. We were drug in kicking and screaming. While it's true we were fighting Japan, I believe Germany was a bigger threat. The US agreed to let Poland be given away to entice Stalin into the game because control of Poland was what they wanted or they take their toys and go home. Britain, France and the rest of Germany did not have enough to adequately defeat Germany without the necessary help from the US and Russia. All of Europe would have fallen had not Germany been defeated.

Love / I'm a Polish girl (my boyfriend is British) and I'm proud [58]

@Befranklin: you live in the US and I live in Poland where I do all my shopping so I got to know ;).

InPolska, you are right I currently live in the US but have been to Poland many times, I guess my wife is unusual and and her breast are on the larger side for normal breasts here in the US, (usually a "B" cup). I have bought bras for most of the women I have dated and find it a challenge to buy a good fitting lovely bra to handle my girls. I guess I'm biased with Polish women as it was really hard for me to find an unattractive woman in Poland, while here in the US we have many. I think one of the reason for this is that while I don't find youngish, (between tween - 50) Polish very physically active, they still tend to be less heavy, (thinner looking/normal) than women in the US. I think that is because of our overly processed foods and the amount we eat here so therefore Polish women tend to more attractive in that respect. Just my 2 cents.

Love / I'm a Polish girl (my boyfriend is British) and I'm proud [58]

Wulkan, it's my "Most" Polish girl not all the others, even though I know there are others Polish, girls, women, who fit the description or in this case that size. Given the state of affairs in the world, no country would fit InPolksa description that most women are "flat"

@Befranklin: how often do you buy bras in Poland? ;). Believe me, I know what they offer in stores.

Yes, I've bought one but I would agree with you that there isn't as good a selection in Poland as compared to here in the U.S., that's why a Victoria Secret store would probably do well in perhaps Warsaw or Krakow. Hmmmm, that's not a bad idea!

USA, Canada / Is there any chance that I can go right now to the US and start a life over there? [19]

Tamarisk, I wholeheartedly agree with what you are saying, there is no bed of roses here, no hand outs, no stars walking down the streets of Hollywood. It's a rat race, (especially here in southern California), with no beautiful landscape that you'd find anywhere in Poland. It's all about trying to make as much money as you can as fast as you can. And if someone is able to take advantage of you, they will. No one wants to know your name here in America especially if your a foreigner unless your a beautiful blonde Polish girl who doesn't care about that fact. Tamarisk is right about Europe and how much nicer it is than it is here in America. Because it's a bigger place with more jobs doesn't make it better. There are so many homeless out of work people looking for hand outs, that's what you encounter most in Southern California. Most of the rich people insulate themselves away from the commoners in their big expensive cars, estates and member only clubs. and as Tamarisk stated correctly it not completely bad but if you are looking to come here unless you marry a US citizen and get a green card, (a long process where you'll find yourself standing behind Mexicans, Colombians and all the others poor nations) it will not be an easy process and if you are lucky enough to get a tourist visa for 10 years you can't work or study while you are here. My advise if you want to come to the US is to find a nice American girl here with a good job, fall in love and get here to start the immigration paperwork for a fiance visa.

No surprise the US never tops any of the life-happiness rating charts despite all the hype, Hollywood, Wall Street, Silicon Valley, Microsoft, Apple, etc.... as a general rule to is good to the wealthy, not so great for the average Joes Shmoes... but there are exceptions. One way to get in legally would be through an employer sponsored visa - hospitals do that for medical staff, for instance... do a bit of google research...

This is very true and a good assessment. My wife who is educated with a degree works at Sears for minimum wage here. I'm glad that I have a good job or we wouldn't make it.

Study / Is there racism in Poznan and hate crime against coloured people (students)? [59]

Personally, should I not be black and African, I would never set a foot in Lagos - Nigeria.

Personally I'm black not African-American either and I would never set foot in Lagos either! I have been to little villages in Poland and quite frankly feel safer there then in my own town of Los Angeles, California.

Life / Life in Poland - feeling lonely and don't want to socialize much! (anyone feeling same?) [93]

but if you want that all the time, Poland is not the best place.

Hi Roger5, I hear you about the cold winters in Poland, I have been 3 times already but never in winter first in spring, May, September and this year in late April. My wife's mother has a house in a town called Sandomierz, I think it popular because of the Pope. It's fairly large house and I guess eventually my wife will end up with it if her mother passes. Right now we don't own a house and rent, so if we did we'd probably just stay here. I'm thinking that as my wife is really Polish, when her mom get on and can't get around I suspect my wife will want to be there for her. That's going to be soon I think. Her mom gets around but can't go up the stairs.

Our plan isn't to live in Poland for the winter but try and find someplace in a warmer area of the EU, we are looking at dubrovnik, Italy, Spain or France and buy a little house or apartment hopefully near the ocean. When we do it I will be retiring and hopefully have enough money to live on and travel.

I know people say that Poland is expensive and my wife does too but when you convert dollars to Zloty you are able to buy more, I hope the dollar stays strong against the EU so that when its time to buy a house over there it won't be so expensive. Houses her in California are very expensive but we are saving and have a good down and additional money with which to buy a house.....but traveling first, I need a long term resident permit for Poland before doing anything then we want to travel to places we think we'd like to live and rent a small place for a couple of weeks to get to know the area and then buy somewhere we really like. Not sure if it will work out but it would be nice to try.

Hi Luke,

It's good to hear from you, I feel like friends already. Luke I'm not young anymore, I'm in my 50's and thinking about retirement sometime in the next couple of years. I'm tired of what is happening in my job. I'm not really making a difference here so I am biding my time here. I work for the government so I am hoping that the amount that I receive will be enough to live comfortable. I have worked hard and want to enjoy the golden years of my life. I understand that you are young and can understand why you feel the way you do. I was in Warsaw in April and I was impressed at the speed of the city and the life that goes on there. Alot to do and see there, certainly a good night life and social life. When you are young, (I said I'm older not dead, I'm still active and run and play sports), you want that kind of life where you are always on the go but I'm kind of tired of it now and want the slow life that you have in a little willage. A life where I can go to the cities when I want to and enjoy life but then back to the peace and quiet.

I don't have any kids with my Polish wife even though she would have liked to have some. I was married before and have a real daughter who is 20 and a step daughter who is 22 and a son who is 25. I say step because while I am not still married to their mom I am still their father and raised them so they are mine whether I like it or not. We try to live a simple life and my wife work in a department store as a sales associate but she doesn't make much money but she saves it all and we live off my salary. My wife kind of like to shop but I think all Polish women do so it must be part of their make up.

Luke, how is your relationship with your wife? That is first and foremost. Is she beautiful like most of the Polish women? My girl is okay, she was a real looker when she was young, now she has a few pounds on and I'm trying to get her into shape but I'm not making it very far. She not fat just getting voluptuous, I prefer a skinnier girl. I think all the food in the USA is not good for her and we eat really healthy but it's taken it toll on her.

Right now it's really hot and sunny here what's the weather like in Poland?

Life / Life in Poland - feeling lonely and don't want to socialize much! (anyone feeling same?) [93]

Hi, I was living in UK for 20 years, before that I was living in Sweden for 10 years! I do have loads of friends in UK.

Hi Luke84,

Quite interesting about your situation, I am here in the US and maybe planning to see if I can survive there in Poland. Cheers to to having mastered the Polish language, not many UK or Americans can. I myself don't speak much Polish and my Polish wife keeps reminding me to get started learning or I will be lost if we settle over there. I'm living in big old nasty LA and would almost give anything to be where you are without the hustle and bustle of the city life. As long as I'm close enough to come and go when I need to, I think I'd be happy. The thing I'm dreading is that by living in LA we do have great weather. This winter, (I should say what winter?) there was no rain or cold weather to speak of at all just nice warm weather. It's about all that good around here, many Europeans and other want to come because of the economic stabability, which it has of course if you are qualified and can get a good job. I'm sorry that you feel isolated, I'd like to hear more as with your command of the language it would seem you'd be able to get on while you are there with the wifey. How is she about this? How is she dealing with it? My Polish wife seems to have adjusted here fairly well but I still have to deal with her Polish personality and it drives me crazy. I wish she was more western and more open-minded but she not and forget about trying to get her to change. As I've said before, " You can take the Pole out of Poland but never the Polish out of the Pole".

She has become a US citizen but I tell you if she couldn't have both she'd just be Polish. Now she can come and go as she pleases and we go to Poland almost every year and just got back in May. I'd love to hear more of your situation as it would help me with my decision to go there or stay here.

Cheers

Life / Imagine a man killing 15 students in Poland. Would Polish flag be removed? [26]

Well it looks as though this topic is finally dead, I really don't know anyone who lives here in the US who would even bother flying a Confederate flag. Those that do are trying to hold on to a past that has been gone long ago. "Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it." Thus the Confederate flag is a relic and should remain in the past for everyone concerned.
