Work / Language Teachers - do you feel respected in Poland? [86]

My wife did teach polish people for years, and she was more ****** at students arriving late or cancelling at the last minute than arriving 5 minutes earlier.

I think the lack of respect is arriving late, not a bit early.

The other way could apply for you. It's because you were successful with some of them that you find them nice ;-)

Of course there are some nice french women, as there is some ugly polish. But at the end of the end, they don't play in the same league. :D

Life / Why Do You Love Poland? [907]

Been in Poland for a while. 7 years. I hated it at the beginning. Depressing.

But now it's home.

I love the cold winters - always loved crazy weather like in Ireland - great snow, very cold temperature. And I'm from south of France!

You have great beers - AleBrowar, Pinta, Ciechan, Amber, etc... - It's changing so fast since I arrived.

Women are the most beautiful in Europe imho - They are ugly in my country of origin ;-)

I love Pierogis :-)

I like the people.

Plenty of things.

And I don't have the choice. Like I said, it's home now. :D
