Language / A little Polish grammar. Masculine, animate objects. [64]

I just had to commet that! I am a native speaker, I make almost no mistakes, which is a score in Polish. But I know nothing of that by mind, I know it all somehow... I read all these rules in english, feel wery confused just by reading!!

To all of you who bravely go through this bloody grammar as your second (third, etc.) language - fingers crossed, and you are heroes in my eyes -:) Big respect.

Language / Kurwa? at end of every sentence [51]

Actually just kurwa does not bother me that much, sometimes it's just more funny than abusive. Using it as a comma is typical, and I would never judge any Pole just for using it. Quite everybody uses kurwa, proffessors, company owners (especially them!), teachers, office clerks, farmers... But we have so much more there! and I just can't stand it when, instead "what is that, kurwa!" (light version) I can hear: "Czy cię pojebało, złamasie pierdolony?? Ty to nawet chujem nie jesteś" - and don't ask me for the translation, moderators, feel free to put stars everywhere in these sentences.

Real Estate / Looking to buy property in Poland - understanding the different types of ownership! [10]

Yes, I agree to the opinion above, no need to take a lawyer. Both types of ownership are in fact types of ownerships, so you can easily sell them with no restrictions, they are not time-limited, or so. Just two different kinds with no practical difference, or a very tiny and unimportant one, such as the ability to get the mortgage. Not all flats that you have the owner's right to flat in the housing association, have the register estate, which is obligatory for mortgages. But if you need it, you just apply for it, nothing tricky there. Prices are the same, costs are the same.

You just get it via real estate, and you are safe. They will deal with it all. If you want, I can deal with it for you, i represent Metrohouse, the biggest net on the polish market.

Real Estate / Any ideas on how I can sell some apartments in Pabianice Poland quickly? [2]

Hi. I represent Metrohouse Comp., the nationwide real estate agency. Contact me on PM with property details and I will answer you on how to do so. I need to know:

- who is the owner (a Pole?)
- address (just the street would be enough) and type of properties (flat, house, warehouse, commercial, etc)
- your expected price
- pictures if you have any

Real Estate / How easy is it to rent an apartment in Poland prior to moving? [11]

Yep, I confirm, in Poland it couldn't be easier to rent sth. You just land, go to nearest real estate agency - half of them would speak English somehow, in big cities I mean. They would offer you many options, and all you need is your passport. You just need to have some instant cash to pay for deposit (1-3 months' rental) and rental, and you have it.

I am in real estates, and also I have some appartments on my own, and I would never ask for anything else, apart from cash and passport.
