Love / English girl moving to Poland with my Polish boyfriend for the first time [69]

if you learn polish and if youre religious (doesnt matter which religion you belive, just belive, and respct others), polish people will likes you as their own daughter.

Why does anyone have to be religious to be liked? what a stupid comment. I'm an atheist and I have hundreds of friends here in Poland. Leave religion where it belongs...back in the Medieval times.......

Life / The Best Things About Poland [23]

The funniest thing about the above two posts is that Poland actually has a more liberal immigration policy than most of Western Europe.

Which therefore means Poland should be more diligent with regards to immigration.

What I love about Poland......Is that it's not infested with 3rd world immigrants and I hope it will never suffer the problems of 3rd world immigration.....and become like Britain, France and the rest of Western Europe where you are scared to walk in some ethnic parts of cities and towns.....Poland is a beautiful country with beautiful people...don't let uncontrolled immigration destroy what you have.

UK, Ireland / Benefit cuts for Poles in The UK? [143]

If David Cameron cuts benefits massively for EU migrants I can see his popularity booming, which can only be a good thing.

He should start by stopping all benefits going to other countries because that's just stupid beyond belief.

Couldn't agree more... !!
Well said....

UK, Ireland / Benefit cuts for Poles in The UK? [143]

Personally I have no gripe with Polish people in the U.K. The majority that I have met are hard working people, why shouldn't they get benefits if they are entitled to them. Ofcourse you do get the few that do take the **** and give the rest a bad name. But the U.K has it's fair share of Brits that are bone idle, lazy, sponging bastards who have never done a days work in their life and probably never will !

The U.K needs to sort out it's own scumbags before allowing others to venture over the channel, that's where the government makes mistakes.

If people think the Poles are bad then just wait until the Bulgarians and Romanians start arriving...legally !

Great Britain.......nothing much great about it anymore......

Love / Marriage with a polish woman - Heaven or Forever Hell ? [60]

he's a celibate RC priest involved in something called 'Catholic Marriage Guidance'.

Crikey ! Remind me never to go to him then !! And as for him being celibate....How lucky for the women !!

The subordination of women is blessed by God? ........I'd say that's more misguidance than guidance !!

If that's his true belief in marriage guidance then I wouldn't be surprised if divorce statistics do rise !

What a horrible way of thinking.........

Life / Want to watch BBC iplayer in Poland? [59]

FilmOn Tv is free if you watch in SD (Standard Definition) and that's great. you have BBC's 1,2, ITV 1,2,3 and 4, ch4 and ch5 and a few others. as for satellite you will struggle to get these channels as the astra footprint just isn't big enough as yet.....for the rest of Sky-tv then normally it's not a problem.

Life / Drivers and Mobile Phones In Poland [14]

I would like to see an increase of enforcement by the Polish authorities regarding drivers and the use of their mobile phones whilst driving. It seems that in almost every car I look, the driver is engaged in deep conversation on their phone, which as we all know can be the cause of accidents on a catastrophic scale due to the lack of concentration. I know this is a global problem but something needs to be done about it. UK cops would have a field day over here.....3 points and a £60 fine thank you very much....next please !
