Will hire video games testers in Warsaw, Poland

Hi, everyone.

QLOC is a service company that works in the video games industry, we're located in Warsaw and we're looking to hire video games testers. The necessary requirements are to speak and write proper English, to know how to play video games and to be perceptive. We're looking for testers for two different positions (and you can work on both):

- a full-time position of a functionality tester: q-loc.com/video-game-testers
- a from-time-to-time position of a linguistic tester: q-loc.com/video-game-qa-tester

If you're interested, please apply to careers@q-loc.com, you can also ask your questions in the comments. You can also check out our website: q-loc.com

(This is an ongoing recruitment process, even if you find this thread in years from the day it's been posted, we'll probably still be hiring.)

@Kezcaisim

You need to be physically in Warsaw to do this job (you can't do it from home). Moreover, our recruitment process requires you to come to our office, so we won't know if we want to hire you until you're in Poland. So you can apply even if you're not in Poland yet, but we can only schedule an interview after you come.

Classifieds / Looking for video game testers in Poland [9]

Hi, everyone,

This is Piotr from QLOC, a service company that works in the video games industry. We are located in Warsaw and we're looking for native speakers of different languages to hire as linguistic video game testers for different projects. At the moment we're looking for native speakers of:

English
French
Italian
German
Spanish (from Spain)
Spanish (from Latin America)
Portuguese (from Portugal)
Portuguese (from Brazil)
Russian
Dutch
Norwegian
Finnish
Danish
Arabic
Turkish
Greek
Chinese (with traditional characters)
Chinese (with simplified characters)
Japanese
Korean

The job is project-based (so only from time to time), normally during projects we work 8 hours a day, 5 days a week. The working shifts are 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. or from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. (the testers are required to work on the same shift for the whole duration of a project).

The job is to play a game translated to your native language and check the quality of the translation, look for spelling mistakes, punctuation mistakes, special characters not displayed correctly, text not fitting in the frame it should fit it, mistranslations etc., all while playing the game. Each linguistic bug needs to be reported in our database. We work with companies such as Capcom, Bandai Namco, Ubisoft, Bethesda, Square Enix, Paradox Interactive, Warner etc., so most of the time those are not boring mobile games, but big AAA titles.

The requirements are:
- to be a native speaker of one of the abovementioned languages and to know the works of your native language (grammar, spelling, style etc.)
- to speak and write good English (it is the language of internal communication between testers on projects and also the language of bug reporting)
- to know your way around Microsoft Office Suit
- to be a gamer

If you're interested, send your CV/resume to careers@q-loc.com and I'll contact you shortly. Thank you for your attention.

Work / I'm a graphic artist. How to get a job in Poland ? [11]

Do you have a specialization? A portfolio on the Internet? A good resume? Make sure your resume meets the Polish norms, you can find some typical layouts on the Internet, just search for "jak napisać cv" on google. Make sure you put your name, address, phone number and e-mail in the resume, people often forget to put that data in their resumes and they wonder why nobody calls or mails them.
