Sorry but 1,400 - gross ? - for 40 hours a week for hard work under sun and rain won't be acceptable to 99% French.

They have a fiche de paie like any other french worker they are in titled to unemployment in France and Sécurité Sociale. Most of the french farmers take care of the accommodation if not they contribute to the rent of a gite. 1400eur net including prime de fin de contrat and prime de Précarité. A lot of french do the job but FINDING A GOOD WORKER is hard. I'm not looking to exploit anyone was just very happy with what I saw of Polish people's work ethic and truly believe that my farmer colleague's and the workers could have a win win situation. Talking to Marcin and Radeck who worked here they told me about horrible conditions they had working in the Nederland's, 30 workers in a 3 bedroom house with one bathroom, that profoundly disgusts me ( I'm dutch ). I guess it all comes down to ones ethics, I could never exploit, and abuse people. I understand you're concern for you're fellow country men but I believe that you are judging me without knowing anything about my motivations and who I'm.

why not, do you know of one ?

usually the employer pays those charges on to of the 1 400 gross.

we do indeed pay all charges on top so for a 1400eur net salary it cost in reality 2300 eur to the employer

wow did not see that coming... when polish workers come work in France they have the same conditions has french workers... French people are just not willing to do agricultural work anymore, if they do they come to work every two days and complain. The two workers I had this summer made 1400eur a month for 40h of work a week they were thrilled, they even found a job on the side for two days a week because they wanted to make more money. The term négrier is a bit over the top...

Isn't it more like EUR 60 per month for the first two years and then EUR 200 per month after that?

I hope you are right :) do you know where I could find a list of registered professions in Poland ?

I could be wrong - but - I think it's a registered profession in Poland.

Is 250 euro a month + 19% tax really reasonable by French standards?

19% tax is on the profit ? I read that for the first two years you have a reduced rate maybe I'm wrong. Then it's 250eur a month witch by french standards is cheap here It's 4000eur a year and 33% or 51% tax on profit... Vat is a bit cheaper here 19.6 %...

In France it's the same thing you must pay social insurance and taxes every month the rates in Poland are much more reasonable :)

You might want to get in touch with a man named John Borrel: he makes wine about 30km from Gdansk (and has a rather high-end guest-house with a stunning wine list).

Thank you had a look at the link will try to visit this winemaker when I'm in Gdansk, always nice to chat with other winemakers and of course taste the fruit of there labor.

You will need to register it as a recruitment agency.

So there is a specific license I need to have ??
could you please give me more details ??

Hi... I'm new here, this forum is a very good source of information and I would like to thank everyone who contributes to it... My parent's are winemakers in the south west of France this summer after years of struggling to find any decent french people to work in our wines we hired two polish workers through a seasonal working agency. What a refreshing change, these guys were on time, worked hard and never complained. We are thrilled about the experience we have had with polish workers. Talking about it with other wine makers I realized that there was a market for labor in my area.

This summer I went to Poland on a holiday and I loved it ended up staying 3 weeks instead of 1 week originally planed. I now want to start my own seasonal working agency. I'm a dutch citizen (EU).

I would like to know if I could set up a working agency has a sole trader ?

If not witch juridical form would be more adapted ?

I'm going to Poland (Gdansk) in 3 weeks for about 2 weeks, would that be long enough to set up a sole trader company?

Is there anyone here who could give me contacts: a Lawyer, Accountant in Tricity ?

Can I do part of the paper work from France before I get to Poland ?

I'm sure there will be plenty of other questions to come :) Thank you for reading this, hope this sympathetic community can help me.
