I'm waiting for the permanent residence card in Wroclaw.I submitted all required documentation in june 14 and I was told it'll takes 5 weeks to pick the PR card up.

My original and photocopy of a valid travel document(ID or passport)
2 recent colour photographs.
Original and photocopy of a temporary stay registration.(5 years)
Original and photocopy of my marriage certificate cause I'm married to a polish citizen.
Original and photocopy of my bank cards.
Original and photocopy of my public european health insurance issued in Spain(they didn't need my private health insurance ,I was amazed).
Original and photocopy of my pesel number.
I didn't need neither history work nor taxes paid.

I also submitted the original and photocopy of my wife's passport when I gave them my marriage certificate.

Original and photocopy of the permanent residence registration(zameldowania na pobyt stały) issued at the municipal office.

Urząd województki (foreigner office in Wrocław) gave to me the permanent residence card yesterday.Everything was O.K and fast and very easy.

I hadn't any problem with all documentation.
I'm very happy it'is a really nice id card.The previous flimsy paper of certificate registration(5 years) is history.This card is easy to carry and very comfortable.

In wroclaw, it doesn't matter if you're married to a national polish, you'll need 5 years not 3 to get permanent residence.

Good news from the urzad skarbowy!!!
They told to my wife I'm not obliged to declare on any PIT tax return the interest payment on my deposits in bank account cause tax is deducted by the bank at 19% anyway.

At the end of the year the bank sends a letter stating the amount that was remitted to the polish tax office and this is the proof of the income that has already been taxed in case, one need it for the future.:))

I only obtain income from my polish account banks on my deposits(interest payment) but the bank sends to the urzad skarbowy the tax on interest.(19%)

I've never filled out the PIT cause I haven't worked in Poland during the last 5 years.At any rate, in 2016 I'll fill out my application for PR and I hope everything will be O.K.

Yes, I'm Spanish (The Canaries) and married to a polish national since march 2006.I've the temporary residence(zaswiadczenie o zarejestrowaniu pobytu obywatela UE.(5 years) in 2011(urzad wojewodzki) and two months ago may 21 2015 I got the zameldowania na pobyt staly(municipal office).I don't work in Poland cause I have financial resources,polish bank accounts(deposits etc).

In 2016 I'm going to ask for PR ,if I haven't worked during the last 5 years in Poland the administration won't grant to me the PR? It's ridiculous!!!!

I think the Estonia permanent residence card is valid for traveling outside Poland in Schengen zone.I don't know the polish one.

the piece of paper for permanent residence is not for the eu citizens in Poland anymore.
the plastic card will be more useful and practical.In may 2016 i hope to have mine.

A permanent residence CARD for eu citizens is possible since april 2014.It's called dokument potwierdzajacy prawo stalego pobytu.

How do the administration knows if the ue citizen was in poland during the whole period without exceeding 6 months a year? I don't understand it.

In Spain it's a paper format A4 not a card.

Many eu citizens complain about it cause hasn't any photo and they have a lot of problems when used.

I think, that regulations changed since april 2014 about the permanent residence card for eu citizens.Now it's possible to get a permanent residence CARD and not a flimsy piece paper.
