Work / Questions regarding Job and salary? Junior accountant position in Poland. [33]

It might be, but I was promised that this isnt a call center position, but that it involves working general ledger and such. But offcourse there will be some calls/emails to take care of in my native language.

At which company ?

I`m sorry, but is this relevant to my question?

Also, never turn down a job because it's below you..or you feel that you are better.

No I didnt mean it at all this way! I just wasnt quite sure if I was gonna be getting underpaid according to be position I have been offered. To me it doesnt seem like much I would make, but I'm sure its just because I compare it to salaries in Denmark, which maybe I shouldnt.

But thank you all very much for the positiv feedback, I know others opinions shouldnt matter when you make a decision in life, but still your comments/advices helped me make up my mind.

So thansk alot guys!

I bet the job is with State Street

No actually its not. May I ask why you would assume this?

Hi Gdyniaguy,

Thank you very much for that positiv response!
You just encouraged me ever more to take the position.

I was thinking the same thing regarding getting some work experince before my studies, because as I see it today so many people have good degress but no experince once they finish, and possible to have some decent working experince will outweigh the fact that I only wanna take a bachelor and not a masters.

Work / Questions regarding Job and salary? Junior accountant position in Poland. [33]

Hi guys,

My first post on this forum, so please don't bash on me too hard :-)

Anyways, I've been offered a a postion as Junior accountant in Krakow. I'm sure its not the most exiting job, but I love Poland so I'm willing to take this postion,

So I'm 21 years old, no previous full time job postion and my educational background is an economic Gymnasium.

Since I have no idea regarding the salaries in Poland (Krakow), I just want the oponion of someone who does before I accept this job.

Ill be giving 8500 Gross pr. month which I guess is equal to like 58-6000 net pr. month, right?

So I guess my question is, is it worth working for this salary in such kinda boring postion? And also in your opnion do you think I will benefit from having this work experince on my resume, if lets say I continue onto university and take a bachelor in Economics?

Thank you very much for your replies, its greatly appresiated.

Karl.
