Genealogy / Looking for a person living in Warsaw - any online phone book in Poland? [33]

Well, as I had a long-term relationship with a Polish girl, I naturally know a lot of Polish people. I wouldn't ask for my ex-GF's number here.

No, this time I need to contact a big boss of a drug cartel, that's why I want to find a book or something like that, instead of saying what you think I could speak easily. Thanks for the idea, though.

Merged: Phone List to find a number in Poland?

Hi,

Is there any list where I can find someone's number? I know some countries have this kind of thing where you search the name and simply reach the mobile phone number easily. Is there anything like that for Polish citizens? I mistakenly deleted the message including a phone number and now I don't want to say, "Well, I deleted your message, so send me your number again" to that perrson. It'd be great if I had an electronic phonebook.

Travel / Can I make payments by credit card in Poland's Biedronka stores etc,? [25]

Yeah this is awesome. And can you please give me advice about anything in your mind? I am just 18 year-old and this will be my first trip out of country.

I am dark skinned so to be honest I am scared of racist disturbances. Can you give me advices like, don't go out late at night, don't use trains, use trams for transportation in city etc...

Travel / Can I make payments by credit card in Poland's Biedronka stores etc,? [25]

Hey,

I am supposed to spend around one month in Poland from mid July to mid August. Most of my payments will & should be made by credit card as I won't hold cash much.

Could you please tell me places where I can buy cheap stuff around Gdynia, Warszawa, Poznan and Krakow? For example, I know about Biedronka, do they accept credit card? What about transportation? On web I think I can use credit card, but when I wish to get on subway in Krakow(does it have a subway, btw?) can I pay with credit card?

Love / Are Polish girls open to foreigners? [78]

Not at all.

They are friendly, nice and good friends. But when it comes to relationship, especially when it is serious, Polish girls will make you have many problems. I have been with a Polish girl for more than a year, and my girlfriend still has doubts about me.

Just weird. If you are not Polish, you will have problem.
