Life / What Are Top Television Shows to Watch in Poland? [20]

I have no idea if you can watch these from TV Polonia satelite channel or from some sime on the internet though

I've never had problems streaming from TVP's website. The only problems you might encounter will be things like trying to watch football games. Regular TV should be fine, though.

Language / Perfective vs Imperfective - grammar [150]

So if I wanted to express an action in the past tense, would it be safe to say that imperfective/niedokonany translates to the English "was doing" or "used to do", and the perfective/dokonany would be "did"?

Travel / Why do you visit Poland? [222]

Szedłem na wakaję, kiedy studiowałem w zeszłym roku w Niemczach. Zwiedziłem Warszawę.

I went on vacation while studying in Germany last year. I visited Warsaw.

USA, Canada / Poles in Philadelphia [9]

Having grown up in and around Philly my whole life, I know that Philly has a decent Polish scene- Port Richmond and Fishtown have some of the best shopping for Polish food in the city, and the Polish-American Museum and Kościuszko memorial can be found in Old City. However, I'd like to start a thread for Polish culture in the city, as well as outside of the city (Montco, Bucks, Chester, Delaware counties). Things like food, traditions, where to find Polish goods/markets, movies, etc. Any and all information is welcome.
