Law / How Much Does It Cost To Form a Political Party In Poland? [15]

Hi, I'm 14 and am very interested in Politics. When I'm older I want to become a politician in Poland and hopefully run for President. I'm currently writing my manifesto, however it is in its early stages.

The question is; how much money (in Złoty) does it cost to form a political party in Poland?

Thanks,
Jozef

History / What are Poland's pagan roots? [62]

Paganism in Poland?

We all know that the majority of Poles become Christian in 966, but I was wondering lately if some Poles remained Pagan afterwards.

If you know of any Polish pagans that kept their beliefs I'd be very interested and if there were still pagans living in Poland I would like to know for how long for as well.

Thanks,
Jozef

History / Is Jozef Pilsudski the king of modern Poles? [138]

What Are Your Thought On Jozef Piłsudski?

I'm 14, born in Britain and am half Polish.
My family in Poland absolutely love Piłsudski and both my great-Grandfathers fought in his army during the Polish-Soviet War.

My question is:
What do my fellow Poles think about my hero, Jozef Piłsudski?

Thanks.

Genealogy / Having a Great Uncle that was an Eaglet of Lwów [3]

Oh that's slightly depressing.

Yeah, he came from Brody - a nearby town. After the war he got land of his own and a few military medals off the State.

Thanks for replying!

Genealogy / Having a Great Uncle that was an Eaglet of Lwów [3]

My Great Uncle was an Eaglet of Lwów, he joined the army during the Polish-Soviet War at 15 (I still have his paybook).

My question is:
I read somewhere that if your ancestor was an Eaglet you had the right to be buried in this certain cemetery, is this true? And if so, how do I apply to be buried there (even though I'm 14, I'm looking ahead!)

Thanks

History / Chance of Lwów once again became coming part of Poland [344]

Will Poland ever get back Lwów?

I'm half Polish, my grandparents came to the UK after the war.

My Grandfather came from Brody (near Lwów) and my grandmother came from the countryside outside Lwów. Both Brody and Lwów are now in Ukraine, which saddens me deeply.

My question is:

Do you think the Polish government will ever demand these lands back from Ukraine?

Thanks
