Life / Poles are not racist [873]

Britain is a great country and the British are tolerant fair minded people which is something that most east europeans will never understand

I don't think so. As Seanus said, Poland never had a lot of immigrates, most of people in Poland are Polish, and if not maybe German or another European origin. Do i have to remind you how were treated blacks by Brits, a century ago ? Poles never treated men like sh!t. It took a long time to Britain to be as "tolerant" as it is today, even if there are still racists.

I wouldn't say that Poland will "never" understand", plus you're generalizing, but people's minds will change as it has changed in Britain.

They are homophobic and racist and have a lot to learn from us Brits

Makes me too sad to answer this stupid generalization.

:)

Life / Poles are not racist [873]

Nazi ideology stressed the racial purity of the German people and persecuted those it perceived either as enemies or Lebensunwertes Leben, that is "life unworthy of life"

Dunno why, i get the impression you support this ideology...

History / POLAND: EASTERN or CENTRAL European country? [1080]

Geographical centre of European continent situated in Ukraine

No, the center of Europe is said to be around Kraków in Poland, where meets lines from North to South and from West to East :)

the term eastern europe is not ceographical it is geopolitical, cultural and linguistical

What are the common points between Portuguese and Scots then ? Between Finns and Italians ? There are no cultural, linguistical, or anything-you-want common points between all of them.

History / POLAND: EASTERN or CENTRAL European country? [1080]

History / POLAND: EASTERN or CENTRAL European country? [1080]

you are talking about geography. The western/eastern european divide is about, history, language, culture, politics, ideology, economics, philosophy etc etc

Is Portugal closer to Wales than Poland to Italy ?...

History / POLAND: EASTERN or CENTRAL European country? [1080]

it seems to me poles are for some reason ashamed to be eastern european and want to be recognised as western european.

you just cant accept it can you, no matter what evidence is presented to you. You cannot bear to be labelled eastern european

Recognized as Central European, not Western.
Ashamed ? With dumb idiots like you telling sh!t, it'd be quite understandable.
Evidence ? You don't know what is Poland and we should believe what you say ? Poland is a mix of West and East (language, traditions, minds, etc.). I think the word "Central" suits more to Poland.

History / POLAND: EASTERN or CENTRAL European country? [1080]

Where is the Czech Republic ? Austria ? And Ukraine's Odessa (Black Sea) ?
Odessa is as "Eastern" as Polish Stettin (German border, on the Baltic Sea) ?
No, Central is better, LoL ;)

History / POLAND: EASTERN or CENTRAL European country? [1080]

Lol just because you listen to ****** rnb and hip hop. you have been outside the iron curtain for only 17 - 18 years and you think you have western influences that have made such an impact on your language, culture, history, ideology etc in such a short time

YOU shut up, you don't know what is Poland but enjoy so much spitting on it and its people, that is the only reason you are here (+ the fact that you don't have a life, there are things much more interesting that insulting nations). Yes Polish language has been influenced, yes Polish culture was and still is influenced, yes its history is mixed (don't think Poles feel closer to Russia than to Germany), did you know btw that Poland didn't want to be on that side of the Iron Curtain. And do you remember than the eastern part of Germany was also behind it, it doesn't make it an eastern country, does it ?

One last thing, Polish history started before WW2...i swear it's true :)

accept what you are - eastern european. The whole of the west regards you as eastern european wether through media, learning history or talking to each other about immigration the only people you are trying to fool are your selves

I won't "accept" it, as i don't think Poles are "eastern" Europeans. They were at the time of the Cold War. That's all. Once again, YOU regard them as eastern (and underdeveloped, foolish, inferior people), many of the today's westerners wouldn't range Poland as an eastern country. Whether YOU like it or not. End of the story, dude, go fishing, i dunno, do something else, stop giving us your racial views, it's obvious you're enjoying all this, but please, get a life, it's free ;)

UK, Ireland / A collection of noimmigration's threads or "STAY AWAY from BRITAIN" [978]

the info pack is obviously directed at the thousands of poles who arrive each week

Where did you see that ?

who do you think they are aimed ?

All immigrants, Africans, Asians, Europeans, etc.

Is there no intelligence pack you could buy and start to think reasonnably...or a bird flu pack, give it a try, we'd be very thankful ;)

History / POLAND: EASTERN or CENTRAL European country? [1080]

Michal, are you talking about western Poles or eastern ? Cause people from Warsaw have not the same mentality that those from Cracow for example.
Are the Portuguese so different ?

History / POLAND: EASTERN or CENTRAL European country? [1080]

look at what all the newspapers regard poland as

All, really ? Please tell me what newspapers do you read ?

you are considered eastern european because you ARE

More and more people consider Poles as Central European, because there's a difference between Eastern Europe and Central Europe. Bulgarians are not like Poles, not at all. But, as you happily spit on both nations, you think they are the same.

you have REFUSED to listen to solid evidence of this

Solid ? Haha. Sorry, your evidence is that Poles are undermen, not like Brits ?...
You seem to really like the United Nations....did you know they are not the only world organization ? If you check some others, you'll find some classifying Poland as a Central European country.

do I have to show you all again

All what ? All the things you chose carefully and gave them to us as "evidence" ? Haha.

History / POLAND: EASTERN or CENTRAL European country? [1080]

By central Europe westerners usually mean Austria or Switzerland, anyway it is a vague term

Switzerland, Central ? What about Italy then ? ;) For me Switzerland is Western.

The idea of Mitteleuropa contains all the lands which belonged to the former Austrohungary. This is the idea of central Europe

Parts of Poland belonged to Austrohungary actually ;)

I propose that Poland should be within Southern Northern Western Eastern Europe (Central).

Seems okay to me... ;)

History / POLAND: EASTERN or CENTRAL European country? [1080]

the scots are nordic

So you don't even know the identity and origin of your own ethnic group?

Noimmi still strongly believes in Daddy Addie's theories (Hitler). By Nordic, he means "perfect", while by Slavic he means "undermen". He identifies himself as a perfect man (yeah it seems incredible!), and really enjoys insulting toilet cleaners, all supposed to be Polish (and Slavs in an extend meaning)... But Scots aren't Nordic.

UK, Ireland / What do Polish people think about Wales and Welsh people? [191]

What do you hate about Wales and Welsh people?

For my part, i think they play rugby better than football...much better actually even if they are not total loosers at football, but they have better results in rugby ;) I'm waiting for the France - Wales...

UK, Ireland / What do Polish people think about Wales and Welsh people? [191]

Traditionally they were supposed to be very good at rugby. I don't know about nowadays

Don't know how it is called in English, maybe the "6 nations tournament"...dunno, well the Welsh have won all their games including against England ;)

Has anyone mentioned Welsh music yet?

Do you know Duffy ?...she's a young singer, one of her songs is on the radio here in France, and i'm pretty sure she's Welsh.
