Law / I need advice on Polish courts. Divorce case. [5]

Thank you for your contribution.
Moment ago I received an email from the lawyer saying that the court indeed sent a letter to the lawyer stating that the judge is sick and there is an adjournment on the case.

However the judge made a decision that I must pay an alimony and all.But the lawyer replied the court asking for the "justification" for the judgement without any hearing.

Law / I need advice on Polish courts. Divorce case. [5]

I am non-eu citizen but I became Polish citizen few years ago.
I got married to a Polish national about years ago.But recently she filed for a divorce which she accused me that it's all my fault that the marriage broke down and she is demanding for exorbitant amounts of money for compensation for herself and another big amount to be monthly for the upkeep of the children.

Of course,I also got a lawyer since I received the letter.Note I currently work in the EU but outside Poland.
And in the recent years,I have been very down financially which made her to be even treating me like I don't matter at all.

When the court fixed the date of the hearing, which I and my lawyer and the court that I can appear in the hearing day via video link.

So two days before the hearing day,I sent an email to my lawyer asking for how to connect to the court on video for this hearing. My lawyer replied that the case has been adjourned/postponed to later date(six months later),that I don't need to do anything until then.

Only for my soon-to-be ex sent me a message after a week that I must comply to the court decision, that the case has been judged and I have been fined to pay her some big amount of money and another one for the children's upkeep.

Since I heard this,I have sent emails to my lawyer and she hasn't replied my emails.

My question here is:
1. Is it possible that the case can be judged without me present in the court?
Note:I have already transferred some money to the court bank account "meant for translation" as I am not a native speaker of polish language. And I am available to attend the court hearing either in person or via video.

2. Can my lawyer have colluded to cheat me on this case?
If they have good case and believe they can win in this case, why would they be playing any trick?

3. Can the judge also be part of this game?

4. If they case has been judged truly, can it be judged without the knowledge of my lawyer?
Can my lawyer be part of theis game?
Can the court allow this kind of game that is against fairness for human rights because I am not originally from Poland?

And if all these are true, what can I do to rectify this unfairness?
Where can I be able to take this case to?
And what are the consequences if won't comply with the court decision because of their deceit?

Please I need advice.

Thank you in anticipation.

NB.Please forgive if there's any error in my write up.

Life / Do Polish people help one another? [40]

Hmmmm great question!I am married with a polish lady and we have a great son together and living together. But I must say polish people less caring and less helpful accordiing to my experience here in this great country.

I love the people though but it sad when you ask them to help you for something where they don't even have to spend a grosz but I think they are not really like to help.I also think it's best to live with them without asking them for any help.

Law / I was fined for not having a tram ticket in Poland. How does this affect me? [68]

I was given a mandat in a tramwaj bcos I didn't have a ticket in szczecin about 6months ago, which I failed to pay.I am not a polish national but married with a polish woman.

I'd like to know how does this affect me/my polish wife in poland?

The bilet control didn't write my name correctly. For example,he wrote my middle name to be first name and just mix the names like that. But my DOB was correct but he also asked for my parents name....lol which I gave him different names. And also the address on my student card was incorrect.

Does anyone know how this work in szczecin poland?

can my wife got into any trouble in the future?
If I have to pay,how much will it be?
