For the record, I don't believe Israel is 100% innocent, they have their faults, as well. Their faults are a just helluvalot less grievous than Hamas' and the Palestinians who support them, IMO.

The fact that Israeli soldiers have been killed and wounded in Gaza, changes your claim that the IDF isn't conducting intelligence and operations (special or not) within Gaza, rather only pounding Gaza with missles.


Worry is the wrong word. I'm just trying to highlight the absurdity of your analogy of equating the nuking a country because it has terrorist agents hiding within said country and attacking an area that is governed by a terrorist organization that attacked your country.

I take umbrage with what you claim as obfuscation. I am not obfuscating. I may be unknowingly wrong in what I understand to be facts, and I'm open to correction, if given verifiable and sensible facts. You have not provided any and your retorts appear obfuscatory to me; so, I continue to hold my position.

From the Catholic perspective, we've had a long tradition of just war theory. We can legitimately argue whether Israel is conducting its war within those parameters. From what I understand about this war, I believe it is.


I have not heard anyone answer the basic premise of your question. The answer always strays off topic. So, Iron, I second BB's honest and serious question.

From where do you get these numbers? It appears every media outlet that reports on numbers rely on the Palestinian Ministry of Health.

So, correct me if I'm wrong, you question the accuracy of the number of dead and wounded Israeli soldiers that come from Israeli gov, but fully accept what the Palestinian authority claims?

If Russia is reverting to WWI tactics then I'm really concerned, because they had a good weekend with such tactics.

During this whole stupid a$$ war, I've never had a sense of how things were going to turn out. But, after this weekend and Russia's advances near Karkhiv, I got this eery feeling that Ukraine lost an opportunity to keep much of its country. The severe lack of manpower and exhaustion being reported amongst the fighters they actually have has me thinking no amount of western aid is going to keep Ukraine intact.

The reports of a major lack of manpower are coming from everywhere, which means it's most certainly true.

The biggest blunder, IMO, is the obstinate goal of Ukraine/ West to drive Russia completely out. There was a moment when a deal could have been made where Russia saved face and Ukraine maintained territory it controlled since 2013.

I fear that moment has passed. It seems it's more probable that it's now all about attrition. Russia wins that war.

Point 1. If true, that says a lot about the lack of quality of the world. How exactly has he improves our image? Hell, can you please describe what our image is? I look at him and I see feebleness, cognitive dissonance, pandering to fringe anti-wetsern groups, and a general lack of leadership. The only improvement I perceive would be those non-Usians who want a declining and weak USia.

2. He ignored the Trump plan of a gradual scaling down by abruptly scattering off while leaving billions and billions of military equipment and infrastructure behind. The image was one of a scurrying giant afraid of his own shadow.

3. The Uke-Rus war isn't over and with each passing day I think the odds increase in Russia's favor. In the wnd, we may very well be saying he protracted this war at the expense of Ukrainian lives, infrastructure, and territory. If he had real leadership capabilities and the ability to be an astute observer of reality he would put conditions on any aid given to Ukraine that would be focused on a quicker peace and stability; instead he opted to shoot for the stars instead of being realistic.

It means to love one's home. It's really what nationalists like Torq and I are, it's not nazi-like hatred of others but we love our homes. All we ask is that those who get invited in respect and care for our home, to assimilate to our customs and traditions and not expect us to reconfigure our homes to accommodate the new arrivals.


That's way too much an exaggeration. Hell, I can barely find Russia on a map, let alone be a russophile-not that there is any shame in russophilia, there's some good reason to be such, IMO.
