News / Ruski a slur like Pollack? [53]

old fashioned way of calling a Russian from when Russia was Kievan Rus

The historic context might be present, but it just feels degrading when you use it and I would allways use "Rosjanin" in "official" area.

"jebany Rosjanin" - 4 results in Google
"jebany Rusek" - 354 results in Google

And it's not because we are more pissed about the Kievian Rus than about the Tsarian/Soviet Russians

News / Ruski a slur like Pollack? [53]

Yeah it is for me. I wouldn't say rusek to anyone and when I use it to tell somebody about someone, it feels like an insult towards the person I'm telling about.

Life / What's up with the trains in Poland (the whole system in complete chaos?) [25]

Privatization wouldn't make the tracks safer on the contrary it only puts on some paint on the demaged stuff while prices rise. So I say, rather pump in some tax money, will come cheaper at the end of the year I'm sure.

And trains are still great in Poland. Didn't use them lately, but even as a student I used it while in UK I prefered rideshare stuff and not only for financial reasons! It can be a pain to go by train in some areas, especially when I traveled cheap and had to change a lot I allways worried if I did everything right not to be fined.

News / US Military: The Army of Poland is crap. [124]

We (USA&Alies) shouldn't be there on the terms we are in the first place! We should educate them and fight islam really hard! Like allowing them sharia and stuff they will come back in ten years and make terrorist attacs again! Not supporting the soviet approach here, but if the soldiers, polish US or any soldiers, were told, we going down to teach the ************* how to do things, instead of helping them do things their own way, we would be a good way further solving the problem!

History / Tuchola in Poland - roots of Katyn? [220]

20,000 / 80,000 = 25% Death by disease / attrition while the balance seemed to live, probably fed to some degree. Not bad for a few years in captivity....

Life / Rate Poland (Life Quality / Culture and People / Food): 1-10! [232]

-Quality of life
5/10
just way too low wages and too many people who would be ****** up if they had no family

-Polish culture and people
7/10 (still best rating in europe except moldavia maybe)
on the one hand educated and/or decent people on the other still too many decadent pimps

-Food
8/10 great food, but I like to pass on meat from time to time, if you are not vegetarian its 10/10

Life / The Art of Complaining by Polish people [47]

Unfortunately western etiquette invades our beloved fatherland and asking someone "Jak sie masz?" gives you just a blunt "dobrze, dzięki" - inhonest lying youngsters!

History / Maus by Vladek Spiegelman - animals to represent Poles? [68]

So why was it like that? Because christian Poles did not accept jewish neighbours? Thats why the jews kept to themselfes? Or did the jews think of themselfes as the chosen people? Or some of that and some of that?

You Sir are completly right with your last statement, it's "some of that and some of that" that is right and logically correct. You are a benefit to humanity and your name will be remembered for generations to come.

I don't see any indications of antisemitism going along with the content of your comment. Your sarcastic reference is well noted and only a complete idiot would not realize its geniality.

You are really a man between men unlike the others in this forum excluding Socrates whom I also like a lot!
