Off-Topic / Simple Things One Guy Wants.. (Parody.) [23]

I want to know that even with problems in the world, there is still peace, there is still hope, and there is more understanding and compassion with each day.

Love / Good looking Polish women with ugly men [416]

Yeah I think we are attracted to face more than anything...

But apparently studies have shown that we seek out "round faces" to father our children. Maybe these men seem more dependable (because they are less attractive to other women?).

Australia / Polish community in Sydney, Australia [93]

If you want to really party Aussies and Brits and not stand around an old stinkin pub at the Rocks with 50 mates in toe singing 'the last plane out of Sydney is almost gone' then hop on a plane and go to Czech, Poland or Ukrane plenty of action there for you.

Diddums Renegade... :(

Perhaps you would like the lyrics? ;)

Life / Expats in Poland - would you fight for your new country? [105]

Thanks Ash - hope it gave you food for thought. Have you been to the Polish Club in Ashfield?

Yeah thanks. Who knows what you'd do under the circumstances...? Probably try to get as far away as possible!

In any case, no, I haven't been to the Ashfield Club yet. I visited the Bankstown Club a few weeks ago, and ended up on the dance floor as you might expect!

I hear the restaurant at Ashfield is quite good though, so that should tempt me there at some point in the future.

Hey, If you're around on Sunday there is a Polish Christmas Festival in Tumbalong Park.

Check it out...

Which is why I said "volunteers"

That's kind of a weird question then. As in the fact that there are men who volunteer to spend above and beyond the required time in the Polish special forces fighting under the general leadership of a foreign army are somehow less "volunteers" than would be men who took up arms for the same general struggle but without formal training?

Just not sure what you're general gist is.

Maybe it's late. :)

Life / Expats in Poland - would you fight for your new country? [105]

Well this is the big ideological question. I mean patriotism doesn't ask too many questions right? I mean I have no idea why I support the Australian football team when they compete abroad (ok, shite example). But I kind of support anything my country stands for. I guess that's the deal when you call a country home?

And remember, freedom comes at a price. When does war stop being honourable or righteous? I mean we honour our fallen don't we? So when does it all become a farce?

Ashley, if you are either unable or unwilling to answer the question can you stop with the obfuscating?

Au contraire.

I'm simple stating that I don't think there can be any other ideological premise behind fighting another group of people.

What kind of answers you'll get will be based on what happened in the past. So if you want a definitive answer regarding what's likely to happen in the future, you might want to paint a clearer scenario?

Nag.

Love / Good looking Polish women with ugly men [416]

Yet in real life how many people have this?

I think they proved with even the earliest sculptures that sizes and proportions were extremely exaggerated. Which is why they made such a valuable contribution to art, because they demonstrated the first projections of how man ideolised the male form but in fact reflected quite impossible physiological dimensions.

Smart people ;)

And each man three hearts...?

Life / Expats in Poland - would you fight for your new country? [105]

It is called NATO "Ashley's Mind". There are no favors, but I appreciate Polish support.

Yes I have heard of Article 5. Not that that matters... NATO was designed to keep America in, and nearly everyone else down...

And for Poland to want to prove themselves as new members of NATO I can see the benefit in trying to gain a foot-hold in a US led war...

"Mr Truman drop the bomb
We can't bear it anymore.."

Who knows, maybe their might will be commemorated in American history books for young Americans to read in the future...?

It's still incredible how much of the NATO budget is consumed by US led security missions that take place nowhere near the North Atlantic region???

UK, Ireland / Why British men move to Poland [63]

Fatness does not = ugliness...

This is obviously the case because all these women, do you notice, are enjoying their wedding day!!!

(How crude to post pictures of overweight women and then taunt them online...)

naive

yeah, it sounds as though you may know a thing or two about this...?

Though it can but a future strain on the budget

Whose budget? Their own?
Or of course they're also too fat to go out and make ends meet, AS WELL as have a loving husband...?

Actually, they're too fat to have a dignified life at all! ;)

Oh don't, that summarisation would be too ironic for these guys to get their tiny heads around...

Shall we just stick to the usual theme of "Polki Prowess" and leave it at that...? ;D

News / John Godson, born in Nigeria, might become Poland Sejm's first black deputy! [313]

I hear you asking coz Successful people don't spend a lot of time fighting with strangers on the internet. They are busy doing best, what keeps them successful.

It depends on whether you determine success as a measure of how much time you spend fighting people on the internet... ;)

It's fighting with words dude... everything's going to be alright...

edit: I personally am only here to have a few less posts in the Relationship/ Marriage section... cause it's really pathetic over there! ;)

Love / What are the most popular ethnicities for Polish women [90]

And its normal ... for people who have a lively heart to think out of the box.

The honesty, the assurance to depend on someone ... to be able to rely ... to be loved, to know that she (or he for girls) see you are someone more special, is extraordinary.

Its always as though living with a special book of love ... and having something more in life than the random person in your town.

You really are a justification for coming here, and I bet *she* is a lucky woman... ;)

I will visit Sth Korea nxt year. I so far have a guide book, but i'm sure if you've been there you can recommend some unmissables? :)
