Filipinos are very care for their girlfriends they are the most romantic among all Asian that you said btw..

now this I like and it's not the first time I've heard this kind of opinion :)
I guess I should follow all the advices that hv been given 2 me and try this relationship ^^ maybe it will be fine.
I'm a bit afraid especially because we hv the same friends and we hang out 2gether with them but i guess if i won't try I will never know. What won't kills u will make u stronger, right ^^

and anyway I'm not that tall and that guy is not that short. I might be just some hopeless romantic but still don't u bring me down people just because there is slight difference of maybe 5cm in the height.

we are not a couple and the fear thing is more like I'm afraid of what happens if he'll know that 'I like him', the fear of rejection perhaps... I have never had this kind of fascination for anyone it's like u really care about someone but ur unable to say it because u don't know what that other person thinks.

I hv been wondering about one thing lately and it just keeps bugging me so when I've found this forum I just thought to give it a go and see what other people think. So here it goes:

I really like Asian guys, I find myself really attracted to Chinese, Japanese, Korean boys. Sometime ago I hv met this Filipino guy and it started to be really weird. We hv the same friends so we hag out 2gether sometimes and it's not like I think about him all the time or daydream or think how cool he is or anything like that... it's just that I cannot concentrate when he is close or when I hear his name I have that weird feeling; when I see him it's like my body goes numb or something, when I hear someone say he's coming I have that sudden urge to see him; once he sat next to me (even though there was plenty chairs around) and I couldn't even swallow or brief properly... (I don't know it's just weird because I've never was like that before with anyone).

And also I'm really scared when I see him, he's always nice to me and says 'hello' first it's like he looks first at me and then waits till I look at him and then says it (and his eyes and smile); he listens when I talk and also starts conversation with me since I'm just to scared to talk to him first I just try to ignore him in case I do something wrong or stupid.... There was a situation once when we sat opposite each other and our friends just wondered off somewhere and I felt really weird that I couldn't even look at him but when I did he turned his eyes in a different direction and then run off...so I don't know... I don't want to think that he likes me or something but maybe we could be good friends.

I lived in england for almost 6 years now and from what I hv seen I can say that most Polish girls that come to England really want an english boyfriend (it's so trendy to go home for holiday and bring english boyfriend just for show of - or husband - even better).... but it's not all Polish girls, it would be bad to be so cliche to classify all girls this way (a specially because I'm Polish myself).

I am a Polish girl and from my perspective it seems like you had quite a good relationship with ur daughter in law and yes we Poles call our mothers or fathers in law mum or dad there is nothing strange about it. Pardon me but I have a feeling that maybe ur son didn't like the fact that his mum and wife got a long so well so that's why he said those things and that's why u have no contact with him now.

and yes we Polish girls try to have good relationships with their mothers in law.

well i've heard the same things about asian guys being shy and so on... i'm a polish girl and what i think is that shyness depends on personality really, some are shy, some are more open and some are pushy, you get it everywhere....

from what i observed is that it's always easier to interact with people from ur own country, i mean lets face it the language barrier (not in all cases) and this kind of things and more over (this is important fact to remember if u wanna date polish guy but ur not polish or just generally have an interracial relationship) 'the guy' may seem shy but the real reason is probably that he has no idea how to interact with girl of different nationality then his. let's say he only dated polish girls (this is only an example).

moreover I think that conversation and being friendly is the key to anyone heart; i mean come on if ur good friend already than that's half of a success.

Anyway this kind of things are really hard. as a girl who likes this asian guy i can ask u the same question: is he shy or how will i know that he likes me?
