USA, Canada / Do Polish guys like American girls? [103]

If true polish guys are anything like american guys, I'm sure the distaste runs deep. I for one can't stand American girls at all. Mostly spoiled little rude items they are. I usually end up going out with spanish girls because they seem to be the only ones around here with any kind of self-respect and are normally a lot funner. And the accent... oh the accent.

Love / THE POLISH DISEASE, wanna marry a Polish girl ? read on... [197]

I would have to disagree with the whole polish girls are materialistic busybodies that want to make you miserable. I have lived in America my whole life and I have found that most women from other countries, not just Poland, tend to be very nice in general and good girls. My family is polish and my sisters both have normal husbands and take care of them very well. And neither of their husbands are filthy rich. Just normal guys. I have a lot of friends from Romania, Russia, Poland, etc. and they are very family oriented and tend to just have high standards. I find American girls bland and uninteresting. In my personal experiences, most of the girls HERE are exactly what you have desribed, not those of other nationalities. If I had the chance I would be out of this country in a heartbeat. Still might in a few years if I can muster up enough cash.

Law / Polish American trying to plan a trip to Poland. Help with legalities on entering country. [11]

I'm not sure. I just have gotten so many conflicting answers about whether or not I would be able to visit Poland again with a felony on my record. I have no problem getting a passport. I heard that they normally don't check for smaller things if you are only trying to go on vacation for a little while as opposed to trying to gain residency or citizenship.

Ok. So here is my intentions. I was in Poland a long time ago. Probably like 10 years ago. I'm 25 now and I have always wanted to go back to visit. My only problem is this. About 5 years ago I had a felony. It wasn't really a major one, at least not by our standards, just had 2 oz. of marijuana and where I live, anything over an ounce is a felony. So I keep hearing conflicting statements about whether or not you can go anywhere in the schengen zone with a felony on your record. I know places such as Canada and Australia are out of the question. Everyone always tells me to call the consulate or embassy but so far I haven't really gotten a straight answer from anybody. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
