Genealogy / Gniazdowski, Brzostek, Surzan - I would like to find my family tree and so forth [4]

I have old black and white pictures the have a castle like in the back ground, Chezwa... something or other is printed on them. I don't have the pictures infront of me at the moment, because I am not at home. I also know my Grandmother Helena and Great Grandmother Alexandria went to Warsaw and brought back pictures of the terrible things that happened there. I can't even watch movies from the War, it bothers me a lot.

Genealogy / Gniazdowski, Brzostek, Surzan - I would like to find my family tree and so forth [4]

Anyone know of information on the surnames- Gniazdowski, Brzostek, Surzan

These are some of my family members surnames; I was born in the states with the name Gniazdowski. I do know that my family used also the name Nestling, I was told by my late father.

I know my part of my family moved from Poland to in the US Missipppi. I find there are tons of Gniazdowski all over the US. I like to build my family tree, can only do so with some documents of birth and deaths which is very little that I have.

I have a lot of family who was close growing up in Maryland, that are now pasted on. I'm 44 female, with two children and I'd like to teach them of their heritage, and family. Not just by memory, and some photo's.
