Love / India guy Polish girl [57]

But i wish this guy is true to what he is saying not just trying to score this blonde and then marry a mom's choice bride from india.

Typical indian/paki male behaviour.

I personally prefer Indian women to Polish women.

UK, Ireland / Are Polish people importing a new wave of ancient racism into the UK? [402]

In the 1990's perhaps there was a case to be made about Poles being more racist than others. I'll be the first to admit I've seen my own share of jackbooted, bald thugs in Poland around that time.

But we're in 2010.

Poland has yet to go through something akin to, let's say, the Oldham race riots.

Work / Black English Teacher going to Wroclaw [247]

CzarDaniel

I'm a black guy.

I recently accepted a job as an English Teacher in Poland.

OMG!

You'd better sharpen up your karate game brother, because the locals are damn sure sharpening their spears right about now, anxious to hunt down and cannibalize an African-American bold enough to enter their part of the concrete jungle!

Sheesh... Chill out man. This isn't 1985 anymore. Wroclaw is pretty much a European city, I'll doubt anything be wrong as long as you take the same precautions as in NYC.

zetigrek "We have lot's of louts in Poland and they like to provoke males to fight and you being balck can be another good reason to provoke specifically you."

Sure, **** on your own kind.

Jews on the other hand, remind too many people of their shameful past, and so are looked on as more of a pain the ass.

I'm Jewish and make this no secret. Never had that problem. Care to elaborate?

Trener zolwia makes a solid point.

I wouldn't go as far as to call the threadstarter a racist, but he is hypersensitive - no doubt about that. Hence the sarcasm in my previous post.

That may very well be, but how long has white racism towards blacks been around? And how long are black ppl emancipated in the US? If the black ppl have to catch up with the whiteys in getting even on racism, we can expect some 250 years of black racism.

Lovely thinking. I assume that, being Jewish, I can go around killing Germans for as long as live then, since I also have "a lot of catching up to do"?

Love / Polish girls fall for Indian guys ? [217]

Damn, what a bunch of bs here.

1) I'd like to see the source behing the "statistics" provided by malay on p. 4. You know, a link to a scientific paper or something. Especially something to back up this ridiculous claim about the 5 richest people in the world being indian.

2) It would be very nice of you, indian boys, to use proper grammar and punctuation while you post here. Talking especially about that madan boy on page 4, also about malay.

If you don't know them, have word or something correct this for you.

In all honesty, there are serious issues with understanding just what the **** you are trying to say.

3) Most white women as a rule don't dig indian men. Reasons:

a) Lack of respect for women in patriarchal indian families.
b) indian males aren't too physically attractive.

Sure, a polish slut may, from time to time, **** an indian guy to get to sleep on a sofa in london for free, but that's pretty much as far as it goes. Educated polish women have pretty much the same approach to indians as do other girls in Europe. That is: "no thank you, go away, don't bother me."

4) The claim about India being a peaceful nation belongs in someone's ass. See the Kashmir conflict.

5) To be fair, Indian women are usually very pretty and know how to take care of themselves. Many professional Indian women choose white guys in UK for exactly the same reasons as are listed in 3 here. It's not difficult to see a very fit Indian bird with a white guy in some of London's poshest clubs nowadays.

History / Maus by Vladek Spiegelman - animals to represent Poles? [68]

In the usual Polish fashion many of You guys fail to acknowledge that apart from a significant number of brave and heroic Poles that did all they could to ease the plight of Jews at great personal risk there was also a very visible chunk of the Polish population that sold Jews out to the Nazis for food or out of spite.

Nothing is black and white, please remember that.

Spiegelmann had an artist's right to portray all the nations like he saw fit, you don't like it - sue him.

Love / Indian citizen wants to marry Polish Girl and get settled there. [107]

Damn, another one of those "plz get me a visa" types. And an Indian Schwarzenegger to boot. Full package, really.

One can actually see, at this very forum, that the UK has slashed Indian/Paki opportunities for immigration. I assume a few blokes at Wesminster must have thought things over.

And now, lo and behold, there they are, all these nice Pakis and Indians so desperate for Polish visas. Damn, what a coincidence.

Love it, absolutely love it :-) Although it would be a better experience if vivek here actually wrote in proper English...

Still, step by step... Dear vivek:

1) "Again racism . the only F*** racism." - I stated a fact. There seems to be a lot of gentlemen from India and Pakistan on the prowl for a Polish visa nowadays. This wasn't visible at all back when Poland wasn't in the EU.

Funny, isn't it?

And it got even worse a few years back, when the UK decided it won't let you ride their coattails anymore and cut down visa opportunities.

Like it or not sunshine, you are not the only special indian boy nowadays looking for a Polish, sorry, an EU, visa :-).

So, I stated a fact. You pulled the race card, as you boys usually do in almost all instances. Since I have now proven it was unwarranted, please take the said card back.

2) On a rather humorous sidenote, why is it that your women ( Paki and Indian ) aren't so keen to apply for EU visas? Oh, wait, they're still stuck in this whole hijab and arranged marriage hell, sorry that I asked :-)

3) Indians are amidst the most prejudiced people in the world. First of all, their social system actually makes it "ok" to completely **** over certain members of their society - the untouchables, as it was mentioned.

Then comes that whole race thing... Their attitude towards black people, for example, is usually nothing short of despicable.

4) I heard that Polish are polite and helpful but now I am seeing here how you guys are - I happen to be Jewish. So don't take it out on the poor Poles if I'm dissing you.

5) Hey. better you shut your mouth, it will be good for you - I see you are looking for a reason to get banned.

6) We Indians are that much capable to get employment. - you Indians are often a bunch of stuck up pricks that consider yourself superior to everyone else, as your sentence has proven.

7) All in all, this seems to be a typical visa scam. Dude met some dumbo "girlfriend" in a chatroom with the sole purpose of moving to EU.

Poland is in a unique position to avoid certain immigration mistakes that older EU states have made ( UK is closing down doors on Indians and Pakis for a reason ) and IMO it should start handling this matter.

How would it be better? Lets remember that he's a foreigner and English wouldn't be his first language. - it would be better since we could actually understand 100% of what he's writing as opposed to, shall we say, 70% :-).

English isn't my first language either. Yet You don't see Me spouting jibber-jabber and butchering it like there's no tomorrow.

Love / Fell in love; I need to go back to Poland for 2 months - what to say at work (UK) [50]

Just too funny...

1) or give a medical certificate of temporary work disability - you mean as in "get a doctor to lie in writing to your employer about a non-existing medical condition that supposedly prevents you from working so you can shack up with your new boyo"?

I'd fire you on the spot if I was your boss.

You are actually giving hard working Polish people a very bad name. It is 2 months we are talking about here, not calling in sick on a monday morning due to bad weather.

2) It is time to **** or get off the pot. Either one of you quits your job and moves to the other one's country of residence or this thing continues on for a while, then dies from natural causes.

Tertium non datur.

If you're expecting your employer to pay up in any shape or form for your love life and arising aspirations you'll be crudely awoken by reality, honey.

3) Purely pragmatically, if you met the lad "a couple months ago", then quitting your job and moving to another country to be with him is pure nuttery.

Love / Fell in love; I need to go back to Poland for 2 months - what to say at work (UK) [50]

Ok, let me clarify.

Do employees in U.K. have an annoying habit to call in sick when their nose starts running on a Sunday evening?

Hell yeah.

Is it common to see ppl faking medical problems that supposedly last for 2 freakin' months just to shack up with their new guy/girl in another country?

Hell no.

Who ends up carrying the burden? Your co-workers. What if they can't? Your employer is at a loss.

That **** is so sickening it should be criminal.

Love / Fell in love; I need to go back to Poland for 2 months - what to say at work (UK) [50]

"Please give me an advise don't judge me.

Right on the spot.

What is it with Polish people ( especially Polish women, to be fair ) and the whole "don't judge me" attitude?

I've encountered that more than once ( at least seven times to be specific ), each and every time it was a Polish female doing something either morally questionable or blatantly criminal and then pullling a "don't judge me" card on people ( often her countrymen ) who suggested it is not a proper thing to do.

So, I gotta ask, is Tupac really popular with the girls over in Poland, with his whole "only god can judge me" thing? :-)

Sarcasm aside, Brits have every right to judge you, get pissed off, or even inform authorities if you are out there trying to scam your employer ( as was pointed out - plenty of locals without jobs at the moment ), live off the benefits or have sham marriages for a few bob so more of these nice Nigerian gentlemen can stay in the country.

Get used to it.

Love / Fell in love; I need to go back to Poland for 2 months - what to say at work (UK) [50]

1) You wrote what you wrote, that pretty much sums up your initial intentions, so don't act like nothing happened. We are not all wee kids here, you know, and we can make our own observations.

In your case my observation is: You received the ( well-deserved ) negative response for trying to fcuk your boss out of his money illegally, hence you pretend like it wasn't your initial intention.

2) I see you are having some trouble understanding what permanent employment really is.

You are employed permanently so your boss can expect you to be there at all times if/when required by law. Had he wanted things otherwise he would have hired temps from an agency for less $$.

Now there are certain unique situations in which law grants an employee the right to cease working and deal with an emergency of personal nature. Shacking up with a new boyo is not one of them.

Why does the law reserve such rights for emergency situations? Because, no matter how long a notice your employer is at a fcuking loss when one of his permanent employees decides to quit working for 2 months. In a best case scenario someone else has to carry the workload. And if they can't, guess who is losing money?

3) If you still don't understand what I'm talking about - feel free to head up to your boss and tell him about this uber-brilliant idea of yours - "Look, I'll give you plenty of notice and I'll be just gone for two months. You know, I just need to see if me and this guy can really hit it off. We cool, right?".

They'll either give you a big hug and tell you to go for it or fire you ( In this economy I'm strongly betting on the latter ) and the problem will be solved.

4) I've hardly been rude, I've been realistic. Too bad you can't take it.

5) I'll keep pointing my finger at you until the sun runs out of plasma. Because I sure as hell don't want the Polish to mass-import their lovely "oh, let's fake some disability/illness and screw my employer/the state out of their money" custom over to Blightey. People who do that should just hop on a plane and go back to where they came from.

6) Saying other people are thieves when you plan to steal is really no excuse.

Love / What do Asian boys think about Polish girls? :) (and vice versa) [150]

1) southern is a troll and should generally be ignored. In most other forums he would have ended up with a ban, here he is kept around as some kind of curiosity, I guess.

2) I fully agree with DarrenM and his conclusions about the thread starter, arrogance and all. With all due respect, I believe that being raised in a sheltered environment by two rich parents and 18 years worth of life experience aren't enough to justify some of the statements that Darren referred to.

3) While I live in the UK ( travel to Poland frequently ) and am a subject of Her Majesty, I am not ethnically English/Scottish/Irish/Welsh. Hence one could say I'm pretty much in the same shoes as the thread starter... And while I may not appreciate some of the aspects of living in London or some of the local customs, I consider this a put up or shut up issue.

If indeed there are all these nasty, drunk, knuckle-dragging thugs around in the UK that make life so miserable... well... nothing is stopping anyone from jumping on a plane and planting one's roots in India or some other paradise, right?

4) I've noticed a fair few polish girls going for asian ( south asian ) boys, not all, but they do get quite a lot of attention. Rather than white english, or even polish boys.

Could it be because traditionally Asians have strong relationship/marriage morals ( monogamous ) very low divorce rates etc. , and generally have a good wealth.

Bullshit statements. I haven't noticed the trend mentioned at all, unless you are referring to the Polish peasant class ( "wiesniaki" "buraki" ) women and even they rather tend to go for african immigrants instead of asians ( guess the darker the better, but you'd have to ask the interested parties ). What I keep on noticing in London however is fit Indian birds going out with white guys and I must confess I plowed through an indian lady or two in my younger and wilder days.

^^ Touche.

What the fcuk, threadstarter? You came to U.S. on a tourist visa, decided it is ok to stay for years, did illegal jobs and you're pissed because you can't buy a mansion on a cleaner's salary or get a huge credit?

Grow up.

Love / Polish men are complete doormats (especially after they get married) [125]

honestly?..

A lot of Polish men hate and fear responsibility, in any shape. Nowadays, some admit openly in front of people they would give up a lot if only they could go back to kindergarten, and spend the rest of their lives playing.

In turn, Polish women feel the pressure to prove that they are strong, independent, responsible, reliable, and whatnot, because it's really hard to find a job in Poland if you're a young woman (sometimes you will even get told things like 'I won't hire you, you will be pregnant in two years' flat out during the interview).

I'm not saying it's 100% like that, there are childish girls and responsible guys in Poland too, but the tendency is as above. And guys with Peter Pan complex tend to turn out the doormats after marriage, because they start to treat their wives as second mums, shoving all 'adult' responsibilities they can onto them.

Honestly?

I think You're spouting utter nonsense.

Love / Polish men are complete doormats (especially after they get married) [125]

1) According to most "hardcore Poles" I'm not Polish.

2) Like it or not,Peter Pan is a much more popular role-model for males in U.K., there must be more of them running around London town than there are ( or most likely ever will be ) in Poland. Hence I believe I summed up that part of the quote correctly.

3) Polish women... Sure some are "strong, independent, responsible, reliable, and whatnot, but at least as often ( if not more often ) they tend to be greedy, spoiled, convinced that they're a genuine princess and of low morality. Many of them pretend to be ladies of much class and high maintenance while at the same time they're ready to shag at a drop of a hat if You offer them a free place on Your sofa in London.

4) So, as I said, utter nonsense, or to be more precise - unfounded theories based on yuaelt's personal assumptions.

It does sound a bit like you got kicked out of the U.S. for being there illegally and are desperately looking for a way out from Africa, Pakistan or another such wonderland.

What in the name of God are you suffering on about? If you can't answer the question normally, why don't you just **** off?

I suggest you keep your tongue in check.

As I mentioned, there seems to be a new visa scammer every other week around here ( which is less than in the U.K., but still quite a bit ) and as a result there's less and less tolerance for such bs. You sir sound exactly like your average visa scammer.
