Law / Medical Malpractice in Poland - seeking accountability? [146]

A lot of Polish doctors went to work in Germany however they needed to speak.r.

i heard from my friend a different story, a serbian doctor, internist, who came to germany, nerbay frankfurt and worked for the fresenius institute. of course they 'demanded' that he could speak basic german, with the possibility to join german classes paid by them. his salary was approx. 2.000 Eur, what is approx. the salary of a arzt in practise, meaning before he, if does, become phd.

the thing with the german language is again sth the german admin uses to discriminate/select the persons they want to give working permit. that what the auslaenderamt at the beginning not managed to do, they try now. stupid.

all in total germany has a huge lack of qualified personal, engineers, doctors etc. strange, even though thousands are finishing faculties...

History / Why is Vatican traditionally on German and not on Polish side? [65]

BTW, how many divisions does the Vatican have?

too much

now, that the rcc has a german pope, its logic that they are on the german side. when the pope was polish i dont think that there was much connection special one with germany. all in total the rcc is always tending to the ones with enough influence and political power...

rcc is pure selfish in that perspective to secure safe spot and enough support of one of europeans powers...

History / Do Poles really blame Britain for Poland becoming Communist after the war? [104]

Some suggested we should have nuked Russia and Japan. That would have put an end to communism without prolonging the war.

...and catapulted u immediately on the pole position for the most hated country on the planet. i took a while....but now us is 'on the way'...

Law / What are chances for Poland to join in Eurasian Economic Community? [100]

the outcome is the same, just that the 'western type' is giving u the sweet taste whereas the 'eastern type' is not lying about the intentions. they are doing it openly. not bad. at least honest. i am now in the 'western type', accidentially born into it, but hey who knows how it will look like in a couple of years?

what would be ur choice?

The problem with Crow is that despite his endearing retardness his underlying message is that of hate and intolerance, pure and simple.

nice text, fp. is that from ur textbook for one of ur stand-ups? much words written with zero content. who will do the laughs?
u once again proved ur status as the stand-up here on pf(quoting ironside)

10 inch perspective on everything under the sun.

talking about urself?

So it isn't democratic? Who's supposed to decide about joining this 'eurasian'/Russian thing - the people by a referendum or something less transparent?

i didnt say that, but it wasnt for voting during the parlamentary elections. maybe it was a topic, but thats it.

i would suggest a referendum, same like when joining the eu was a question.

At least a/ people know about it and b/they have access to Facebook in the first place. Many millions of computer users round the world (in countries with extreme political ideologies) aren't so lucky.

wihtout that computer guy noone would have known. thats the thing with the democracy. all is nicely packed, but actually they spy on u like in other, repressive regimes...

Law / What are chances for Poland to join in Eurasian Economic Community? [100]

Maybe elaborate on that?

i'll try.

read a couple of days ago in a political magazine an interesting article about fb, tw etc. how they are used for 'spying'. the cookies which are connected to all kinds of actions in the net made some people inventing some kind of programmes with which u can collect them and detect/analyze what people are doing/preferring etc. of course the intelligence services got to know about that. so, in one case one of those companies instead of collecting those informations gave the cia free access to their programmes....

a couple of weeks ago an australian comp genius found out, that in melbourne or sidney i think, the aus intelligence service spied on 800.000 fb users, randomly selected....that guy/hacker u may call him is giving lessons all over the globe for companies/institutions which wnat to make their it net more safe...hes 28 years old.

b brother is real.

to the topic:

why not a referendum in pl about this question? what would be the outcome now? pro/contra...

History has already told us about the horrors of Russian domination.

....and nazi one. u forgot them.

when there's a knock on the door at 6 am

at that time there were just two guys in dark green leather coats offering a free ride ;)

Maybe because the 'mass media' sometimes get it right.

very rarely, just the news agencies i am following, about what is happening. for the rest of info its better to use the net, sources 'u can trust'....

It still makes no sense!

ok, mein lieber.
i was just refelecting that the fact u living in pl is not shown in ur comments, rather than just the quotes of the know mass media. nothing authentic from u. null.

You mean the one you disagree with.

he is the voters choice. why disagree? do u? u live there, right? what r ur impressions of his politics? the majority seems to like his course...

Something you have amply demonstarted you do not have.

ufff, dude, that coming from ur 'mouth'...better take a mirror. ;)

Why join it? No reason to join and every reason to avoid. One starting point would be that almost every interaction between Poland and Russia over the last millenium has been a tragedy for Poland.

ok, we'll see where the marriage with the west/eu/us/nato will guide them. let the history tell us.

Who voted for a union with our Slavic 'brothers'? nobody.

what a smarty u r. that 'union' was not for voting. it'll be a politic decision, if pl joins or not. until now they choose the anglosaxon hintern. seems cousy there.

Illiterate, bigoted, delusional and a fantasist.

mods, if this is directed to me personally it looks to me like a personal offense. to you not?

This actually means nothing.
And less of the 'ur' 'r' 'u' 'ru'. This isn't an sms.

just a proove for ur non critical point of view. hypothetical thinking is not ur strong side, ha? tnx and keep ur arrogancy in check. just a friendly advise. ;)

sascha: the know main stream media bs
The what?

arrogancy no 2. i was mistyping...wanted to say the knowN and so on...

You mean the guy they just re-elected.

yes, the eu/nato/us puppet.

Rarely. Poland is a reality not an idea in the mind of outsiders. Especially ones who seem to be suggesting that Poland joins an 'economic community' dominated by Russia.

believe, more often than you think, but that would demand an open mind. ;) so u r an insider. wow. not visible. why not to join that eurasian community. now pl is in a circle dominated by eu and usa. what is the difference? ur dislike for russia? nice generalization.

Law / What are chances for Poland to join in Eurasian Economic Community? [100]

Given that I live in PL and you don't, I'm rather more qualified to speak than you who have only an abstract view

true, i dont live in pl, but given ur comments it doesnt reflect that. rather the know main stream media bs and ur subjective point. no critical view of urs at all.

and trolling at that.

tja, sometimes the abstractive point but open minded is much more relevant than other. ;)

Zero. This so-called Eurasion thing is Russian expansionism, abhorrent to Poland.

if mr tusk is continuing his journey in the anglo hinterteil, of course not. we'll see.

i think that there are also other views to this questions, less absolute than ur statement in the polish society. i dont think they eat all what they get currently served, no matter the suspicion for the russian aspirations...

where there is peterchen, there is johnny with his unqualified view. nice man. didnt expect other.

What are chances for Poland to join in Eurasian Economic Community?

even theough poland joined quite a lot of 'communities', some of them willingly, some of them because it is expected to do so, maybe this community is an alternative. we'll see if it becomes real at all...

not defend anyone, just the simple facts:

Then why do you Serbs persist in posting crap about a country nobody here gives a damn about?

that is ur personal, unqualified perception. not important at all.

Serbs and Poles are not brothers

incorrect, they are both slavic nations and that makes them brothers

the Turks are Serbia's closest genetic match.

u know that this is a ethnical offense and shows that u dont know a sh1t about balkan history. the ottomans occupied the balkan, serbia, for more than 400 years, but there was NO genetic exchange. take a history lesson about the balkans.

Poles do not want anything to do Serbia and Russia

again ur personal point. not important and just babble.

everything they have done since gaining independence makes that quite clear

what independence? r u dreaming? not they are on the infusion of eu and usa/nato.

Why don't you find a Serbian forum and discuss it there, this forum about Poland and Serbia is nothing to do with Poland?

as i explained above, since both r slavic nations, of course they have more things in common than not.

i agree with the thesis, but ur companion here sob thinks otherwise and tries some bs disqualification among slavic nation which are friends for long time.

btw, poles should join that union no matter what the past...playing on one card never plays it fully ;)

Yugoslavia as it was known after WWII was the same after the Versailles creation in 1919

as i quoted: what u call YU was after ww1 kingdom of serbs, croats and slovenians(01.12.1918) what changed after ww2 the name to yugoslavia. keep up the work with history. ;)

As being Slavs...Poles are not serbs.

really?

What do Poles have in common with serbs?

they are both slavic nations.

They are West Slavonic, shared with their Sorb, Slovak and Czech neighbors. They share a common Western inheritance, a common set of values and a common, if checkered, history.

sob, i know what u r trying to do here, but it will not work. u try to rank slavic people and make distingtive differences among them based on religion values etc.(what is western inheritance? sth political i suppose, made and grown now to emphacise the differences) what is complete bs and try to sell them (serbs) because of that less civilized/not similar to poles?

Law / What are chances for Poland to join in Eurasian Economic Community? [100]

Wrong. First time the term "Yugoslavia" was officially used was in 1929.

obviuously u dont read history or a short wrap up at wiki. do so. that what u call yugoslavia was an idea but NOT a country after ww1. that country was as i quoted above kingdom of serbs, croats and slovenians.

that what came out of the kingdom after ww2 was then the state AND the idea of yugoslavia.

And a "Balkan Federation". It is just that.

that sounds quite arrogant. it was a state not a federation since all who were in the kingdom agreed to be part of it. noone was forced.

Since when does Poland belong to the Balkan?

not to the balkan, but to the slavic world since they are slavs.

Poland is part of Mitteleuropa and as such of Western European civilization.

there is another thread where there is the dispute where poland belongs, geographically and politically. ;)

geographically they belong to middle europe/middle east europe imo. otherwise yes they belong to western civilization like complete europe(geographically AND politically) based on roman and greek civilizations/cultures.

ur emotionally involvement doesnt change the fact that poles are slavs and for me as a non slav they are simply not west world in a meaning u use. that of course is not undermining my respect and affection for them.

Law / What are chances for Poland to join in Eurasian Economic Community? [100]

Not true. Yugoslavia was a creation of the Versailles Treaty.

wrong. its was called after ww1 Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes what after ww2 ended up in YU.

Then also, existence of Yugoslavia was good for Poland. Defending Yugoslavia, Serbians defended Poland`s interests, too. Yugoslavia was even created as deal among Polish and Serbian elite.

that is correct and thats the reason why a strong YU was the thorn in the eye of the west.

poland should imo play on more cards than only eu/nato. who knows where those 2 ships will end up? ;)

Life / Are Polish people so chaotic and disorganized like Germans say? [89]

Never belive anything a German said, they hate the Polish, and will forever.

nice generalization. i feel personally offended by that. its not ok, but i'll live with it. no pro ;)

who care what germans say.

actually quite a lot of people, when it comes to politics. on personal level i agree with u.

Poles are great even the deluded

:)

They are honest in their lack of emotions. They like only Germans.

true, thats why many of the idiotic part of germania would like to get the showers back or at least the pre-installations ;)

Germans were very organised with their elbows in Fuerteventura. Amongst the rudest old sods I had ever seen. No character and no class!

i agree, that maybe german oldies are special nasty group, but i suspect its more an age than a country issue

Life / Looking to immigrate to Europe. How is life in Poland? [116]

It just depends where you look. The average salary in German is a good bit higher than here. I didn't find the meat too expensive in Berlin and it is commercial central.

correct. prices in ger are ok, depending what and where, most importantly.

avg salary was last time i looked around 2.000 Eur. not too bad

Travel / Why does everyone seem to hate LOT Polish Airlines? [380]

i used them very frequently in the 90's and was always very pleased with their service. in the recent times i travel not to poland so i dont know. in that time f.e. the food was much, much better than in lh and the ticket prices were much lower.

a, yes, and the stewardesses of course... ;)

whats going on there now?
