About 0.8% of Africa's population, or 7.5 million out of 1 billion, is white of European descent - wiki stat.

I have not seen posters saying "Africans ONLY" for the upcoming world cup in South Africa. In fact Africa is very open to foreigners, 85% of African countries have waived visas for visitors from the West. So, when you say 'a good job' - i struggle to comprehend it.

I'm quite sure you'll be very welcome to visit/migrate to any African state.


Racists? may be - thats an individual mutual feeling, so just like here in Europe NOT all people are racists. However, lets not forget that AFRICA has 3 different human races cohabiting together on the same continent - Africans, White Africans and Arab Africans.

Convex, i dont think the 'rent' tone is very moral - We're not talking about property or some kind of own belonging. Have some respect for Humanity....and the same goes for all of you who think women are property!

Anyway, im sure you'll find it just fine to set up a company and run it yourself but, albeit certain contractual obligations. Just like anywhere in the world, the government has to look after its own people, right? So if the law says you have to employ a certain number of locals (White/black/men/women) then thats what it is.

We all know that in Europe, European PP holders are considered for jobs (corporate level) within Europe well ahead of any other nationals - I'm sure non-European PP holders have experienced this.

Thats why there's a criteria for getting into parliament or even becoming a Minister - these people are more sensible and reasonable than the ordinary - que jarnowa. Thats why they're entrusted with decision making and policy implementations. Now we all know what the UN stands for.

Ofcos, but thats what it is anyway! Law or no Law - European companies employee more indigenous folks than foreigners, i would say abt 75% never mind 51%. The whole point is Local people have to be considered for jobs first. Its different in SA simply b'se blacks are the majority but till that employment law was passed, they're hardly considered for jobs.

Crime rate is not a bespoke issue to the poorer countries per say. It's very simple, Unemployment rate is relative to crime rate and this applies all over the world. Look at whats happening in Greece and Spain at the moment. So as soon as the local people get into active working - have people like convex adopt a broader investement mindset, then crime rate will reciprocate.

I cant understand why this thread is online, First and foremost, No one knows the facts of the incident apart from the deceased (RIP) and the Police officer. Forget abt what the witnesses say - anyone could say anything depending on which side they're on.

Generally, i think killing someone for any reason is unexcusable and i'll not be dragged into this stupid debate of race cos it's very easy to prejudice the Police officer and yet it could be that he shot on purpose - how can we prove that? err NEVER!

Saying that the Nigerian guy tried to hustle the gun off him is very divisive - Why have the gun in the first place? Is this Polish Police policy, shoot on sight? I'm not naive to think that the police can't self defence but why use such excessive force? was it called for? Was the whole situation worsened by the amount of force exercised?

I've seen numerous Police raids across the world but you dont see police flagging around live arms unless u're dealing with fire arm dealers - If you want to see someone's status papers, is it necessary to have a live and loaded fire arm??

It's unfortunate that this whole episode involved people of a different race, however, i still think it could have happened to anyone BUT i codemn the unnecessary excessive force used. You dont kill a mosquito with a gun!! Common sense please!

I actually do know a couple(Polish guy, African woman) here in the UK. How they met...ah well to cut the story short, they're inlaws to either families if that makes sense! The African woman's brother married the Polish man's sister and so viceversa...very interesting stuff indeed! UK, Ireland / EEA family permit from Poland to UK - time and process [60]

Kleana, there's a few things you need to do abt the EEA Family permit.
You'll have to apply for an Entry clearance visa (EEA Family Permit) at the UK embassy in Warsaw. This one just allows you to enter the UK - to join your husband as a Non-EEA family member of a EEA member. And yes, as you can see on the application form, your husband must have the following documents

1. Firstly, registered on the (Worker Registration Scheme)WRS as this is the only piece of document that binds him to exercising his rights to stay in the UK as an EEA member. Registering on this scheme takes between 4-6 weeks before he gets his certificate.

The Interpretation of the law is; for you to join your husband, he must be exercising his rights to live and work in the UK as an EEA member and since he's Polish, the only way for him to exercise this right is to register for the WRS.

2. NI is not that important because that takes longer sometimes. He has to attend interviews at the Job center and all that. Yes, it's required but if he doesn't have it by the time you want to travel, i doubt that will be such an issue.

3. Employment - Your husband will have to prove that he works in the UK. you'll need his employer's details i.e address and contact details. You'll also need his employment details i.e employment contracts, payslips, hours worked per week and also terms of employment. Btw - you need to provide all these documents as evidence to support your application. Originals preferrably.

4. Accomodation, Yes, your husband must have a known address in the UK. you will need the address details and the Landlord details. Most importantly you MUST have the rental contract. With this contract, it's an assurance that you have an permanent address in the UK.

5. Other documents to support your application.
a. Financial documents(you & your husbands bank staements), whilst they are desirable to have, they're definitely NOT essential. Like i said earlier, your husband, an EEA member has rights to live and work in the UK, so financial guarantee is not a prerequisite!

b. Your relationship to the EEA member. this is as Important as anything really. you'll have to prove that your marriage is genuine hence your marriage certificate should be available. Be ready to answer some personal questions if needed.

c. Yes, you'll need photocopies of your husband's identity documents.

With all these documents, you should be able to get your visa no problems but we all know visa's are dealt with on individual basis and that unfortunately brings uncertainity. Good Luck with your application.

Say your PP photcopy falls into the hands of those organised gangs, somewhere in russia or ukraine or anywhere in the world as a matter of fact!

All they do is get a brand new fake passport with your details in it but with some one else's picture. Now, that is Identity thefty by definition. What they decide to use the fake passport for is any one's guess.

Here in the UK, i've known people who have accumulated huge debt bills and they haven't got a clue why they owe on credit cards and store cards.

Debit cards are a no go for these criminals because literally, you spend what you' ve got in bank not the credit. So yeah - In a nutshell, A passport photocopy, and any sort of proof of address is literally enough to have your identity stolen. However, you don't just find these criminals on the street, as they're running a multi-million pound 'business'. So what the OP is suggesting is somewhat a red-herring as these people are very thorough and wouldn't risk such exposure!
