Off-Topic / How do Russians truly feel about their great leader? [77]

Do you have some information about "undisclosed" procedures, that was undergo in Berlin clinic? Oncogenous virus planting? Maybe injection of prions similar to "cow madness" ones?

You would have to live under a rock to now know what happened to Navalny.

Nobody (maybe except MI-6) know what really happened to Navalny. But culprits was "appointed" immediately.

I'm glad that Navavlny now in a safe place out of reach of their curators, where nothing wrong will happen with them anymore. ;) Would also be glad to see Maria Pevchikh into similar quiet and safe place, but...

I bet that if Russian people experienced higher quality of life under democratic leadership

We had "democratic leadership" in 1990's and was praised by the West. In fact, it was looting of resources and destroying industrial potential (the same thing that now nearly finished in Ukraine). So, we feel that Putin is optimal compromise between democracy and authoritarism for time being. We are very cautious now about anything that may cause praises from the West.

We are very fond of being lectured about the "theory of democracy" and the regular alternation of power is presented as a dogma, an absolute requirement.

What they forget to tell us is that it is only a tool. A tool to replace honest politicians, who are sold once in a lifetime. If it lingers in power for too long, it is a disaster for those who were too slow or too greedy and did not buy in time and need another chance. ;)

It's very rare to come across larger figures who don't sell out. Rockefeller, as I recall, lamented that he didn't succeed with Putin when he was not yet at the top. It is bad for the state to displace such people simply by term of office, if they work honestly.

So, print your recommendations on a heavy glossy paper, roll into tube, and stick them yourself to the right place. ;)

Just strange that Putin nevertheless feels the need to opress and murder anyone who seems like he could even remotely challenge him.

Do you have any names? Or just some sh*t to throw to the fan?

Not MY approval! :)

The approval of the russian people!

Russian people approves him. More than enough to be re-elected again and again. Because he work, not just talking about some stupid theories.
Pro-Soros "opposition" can sh*t by whole bricks and cry loudly - but have no chances.

At the same time you should compate their GDP per capita too.

Russia have to spend a lot for things to replace sanctioned imports. It should be taken into account when GDP is compared. Lots of money goes to restore infrastructure and manufacturing capabilities that was destroyed by "efficient managers and friends of the western civilisation" in 1990's. Some projects is "on hold" for a while. But dynamics of GDP is positive in a long term.

The best proof for the acceptance of his rulership would be a free election, sorry to repeat that! :)

We do not need your approval, by the way. ;)

and Putin wouldn't see a need to terrorize any opposition.

If cutting all legal ways to receive foreign funding for political activities is "terror", most of Russians will welcome it. The rest is not about political activities, it's about basic law and order.

he wouldn't have all that money anymore if he would pay the whole opposition as accused.

You have to pay just to few experienced demagogues, like Navavlny. And supply them with some money for technical staff. Enthusiastic young shitheads en masse will be free. For some time. Then they started to understand what is actually happening and become deadliest enemies of their former cult leader. We already got first such generation, and it is fun to see...

That they just wish for more options for an election?

We don't feel that it is necessary to fix something what is not broken and change something that work.

a swamp develops

Compare number of top level administrators who go to jail in Russia and in Germany for last 10-15 years, and tell me where is more chances for "swamp" to develop.

Thing is, not many Germans complain about that....this "occupation" brought on the best years in the history of Germany

In roughly the same way, the time of Putin's rule is remembered by those who managed to live under communists as a time of growth of prosperity and freedom from the ideological pressure of the state. In other words, Russians have never lived as peacefully as they did under Putin, and people of their age cannot be forced to vote for Soros's scumbags. The "sectarians" succeed in brainwashing the young, who have not even seen the 90's in their right mind. We have to slap their hands when they start to run amok.

But - compare per capita debt of Germany and debt of Russia.

Any current functioning democracy has implemented safe guards for its' citizen that no political majority can infringe upon.

It's like flying birds that voluntarily cut their feathers to avoid prevalence over non-flying ones, and as a result became first prey of ground predators. ;)

Do you see yourself as mob?

I'm free man, and can afford to choose when I need to join the mob, and when I should leave.

I would love to have Prussia back too....but our societies don't work that way anymore!

You need a politician that comparable to Otto von Bismarck by their leader "qualities", and it may suddenly turns out that you really CAN stop anglo-saxon occupation of Deutschland and become sovereign nation again.

"Democracy is nothing more than mob rule, where 51% of the people may take away the rights of the other 49%"
(often attributed to Thomas Jefferson).

Well over 50% supporting Putin, who trying to follow "social contract" that was formulated based on ideas of Petr Stolypin, state reformator, who was killed in 1911 by anarchist terrorist.

So, on any democratic and fair elections, cries and whining of current opposition and pro-Soros youth, brainwashed by sect leaders like Navalny, will be flushed down the drain.

And few quotes from Stolypin speeches for you, have fun.

You gentlemen need great upheavals; we need a great Russia.

Give the State 20 years of peace, internal and external, and you will not recognize today's Russia.

You cannot build a state governed by the rule of law without first having an independent citizen: The social order is more fundamental and comes before any political program.

There are decisive moments in the life of a nation when the necessities of state take precedence over law, when the choice must be made between the integrity of theories and the integrity of the fatherland.

For those in power there is no greater sin than the cowardly avoidance of responsibility.

In politics there is no revenge, but consequences.

Power cannot be considered an end. Power is a means to preserve life, tranquility and order.

Our eagle, the heritage of Byzantium, is a double-headed eagle. Of course, strong and powerful are also one-headed eagles, but by cutting off our Russian eagle one head facing the East, you will not turn it into a one-headed eagle, you will only make it bleed ...

The main thing that is necessary when we write a law for the whole country is to have in mind the reasonable and the strong, not the drunken and the weak.

In Russia, they like to make reforms only because it is easier to hide their inability to govern.

In my opinion, foreign "protesters" should be shot on the spot. OK, next day.

You are forgot to include local "protesters" working for foreign funding to the same group.

On certain days the regime police detained 2000, 3000 people.

And all this people was fed to predators in Minsk zoo? Or maybe used as a running targets in military training? Or incarcerated like ones who entered Capitol?

I suspect they was released same evening after vocal precaution or minor fine...

Oppression - it is something closer to Chinese way. And strange thing - China had Tiananmen "event" and became world leading power, with people living standard constantly increasing. Ukraine done the opposite - and got the opposite.

if you'd had a government

Yes, we have a government that we allegedly elected. And we will try to take care about our problems, including the one with traffic jams . Even if we will need to reposition teeths of some brainless opposition activists deeply into their throats to speed up progress.

Sorry guys, had to go. Plane will not wait.

t.me/BlackBookBelarus - their telegram channel and main cesspool.

umap.openstreetmap.fr/fr/map/map_499264#16/52.0736/23.7154 - locations where police officers lived on the map, with all data they was able to collect, up to car model and license plate number.

So he was a hero then?

Not sure that it is a real hero, but much more heroic, compared to Yanukovich, that flee immediately and left their country in a deep azzhole.

Coordinator? How? What do you mean?

I mean NEXTA telegram channel, "Black book of Belarus" who published personal data of police officers and called to kill their kids, etc, etc... It was main channels of riots coordination and hate producing fake news sources.

.it started with a few youth spraying some critical slogans on a wall.

And Protasevich, who we discuss here, was a coordinator of such "youths", that had to do something similar with Belarus.

If Assad had that kind of support among the population, he wouldn't have needed Russia and Iran to bail him out

Don't forget that current population is quite different, compared to population before the war. Opposition supporters now mostly milking German taxpayers. ;)

Assad wants to kill any opposition....

Opposition tried to kill Assad. Assad succeeded in killing that kind of opposition. What is wrong, really? It is a family feud, not a business of strangers.

Does US troops who "cover" stealing syrian oil, is afraid that they are next to take care of?

People don't work that way....humans are not that homogenous,

When you spent last years under bombings and gunfire, people starting to be much more homogenous, if it come to election of president, who really can stop this. It's about Syria.

And about Lukashenko - I think it got well over 50% anyway, there is a lot of belorussians I talked with, both in Moscow and in Belarus. So, while I have doubt about 80%, I'm sure that real outcome of election is not changed.

where human life has no value and people don't give way to ambulances.

There is a lot of places in a such big city, where blocking one road create a trap for thousands of commuters, who cannot do anything except waiting until police will take care about real cause of jam, be it road accident or crowd of stupid sh*theads rallying for leader of their sect.

There is simply no chance to give a way, no extra lanes on road that is reserved for emergency services. When buildings were constructed, problems was mostly with horse manure on roads, not with traffic jams.

Sorry, but this is a free discussion forum, not Russia :)

You can discuss anything. Nobody will complain.

But when you will try to tell us what we should do (by your opinion), we will tell you to which kind of hell you should go (by our opinion).

If you want to assure that your opinion matter in some country - emigrate there and get local citizenship, together with electoral rights. Any notations from abroad and from people whose interests in welfare of another state will be met with middle finger.

Before you discuss whether Lukashenko's 80% or Assad's 95% is real, go there and talk to people (not just Soros' chicks at rallies). And then (if you have correct passport) start to worry about finding out where the decisive percentages came from after midnight in an election in a country that is trying to teach everyone about democracy, including with rocket fire.

And, unfortunately, story is true, it was 4 yrs ago...

The putinist's greatest worry are traffic jams in Moscow :)

My mother died on my hands from heart attack because ambulance was unable to cross densely clogged road to SVO for extra half of hour. This was accident.

But, since then, anyone, who intentionally make traffic jams will never get any support for me, even if they will be accompanied by Jesus Christ and crowd of angels. More likely I will take any possible measures to make them lifetime clients of dantists.

So, STFU and MYOB.

You lose twice...

I don't think so.....

police intervention when protests become dangerous

Once protesters block roads and prevent operation of firefighters and ambulances - it is not peaceful protest anymore. Do you want to die from heart attack because peaceful protesters does not allow paramedics to reach you timely?

What Navalny tend to do in Moscow. Their organization requesting place for mass meeting from mayor office, receiving a list of places that can be approved, choosed one... And immediately before meeting time using Twitter and Telegram changed place to one of streets or places where crowd clog whole center of city in "10 out of 10" traffic jams. Do you think 12+ million city liked such "freedom" from 2-3 thousand of brainwashed youngsters?

what response to electoral fraud is appropriate?

As I can see (if, of course, the U.S. is the standard of democracy) correct responce is to shut up, swallow, and fear to look to the side where BLM crowds "protesting".

Can't you do any better than that?

Will not even try. Can only quote - "this is not your fcuking business". Care about your own country and your own government first.

What specific crimes is he being accused of?

Against Protasevich there are three corpus delicti - the first is part three of article 130 of the Criminal Code (committing deliberate acts aimed at inciting social hatred on the grounds of professional affiliation), providing for 5 to 12 years' imprisonment. In addition, the case is filed under Part 1 of Article 293 (organization of riots), providing for imprisonment of 5 to 15 years, as well as Article 342 - the organization and preparation of acts of gross violation of public order, or active participation in them (the maximum penalty is imprisonment up to three years)".

Possible participation in foreign armed forces in Donbass is not yet on the list of charges, but the investigation is ongoing. So, if he really a "Naaaaziiiiii", it will be the а cherry on top of the cake.

Unlikely. I suspect that it was their former colleagues. Stepan Putilo maybe. Their "divorce" with Protasevich was, reportedly, with a conflict.
And so cheap and really total revenge was just one email away....

Not a single argument on why it's good to hijack a plane to arrest a political dissident....

Arrest of wanted criminal was nice bonus to diverting potentially dangerous plane with reported bomb on board from vicinity of operational nuclear plant.

BTW: Did you heard exchange between Ryanair pilots and air control?

Because he and his sole supporter have nothing to offer.....

Because I don't plan and don't want to offer you something on this matter. You are fed to the roof by propaganda and it is counter-productive to ruin your imaginary world. ;)

Highly likely (tm) you will be unable to present any proofs of what you said in court. Are you ready to accept accusation in your own address based on the same level of argumentation?
