Federal Prosecutor General Jens Rommel had two suspected Russian spies arrested in Bayreuth on Wednesday morning. The two men apparently acted on behalf of Kremlin dictator Vladimir Putin . They are said to have spied on US bases and planned attacks on military transport routes. " Spiegel " reported first....

The war mood is at an all time low in the US....Biden thinks about pulling out of the support for Ukraine.....hey, lets attack the US itself, yeah!

Maybe it will come to that rather sooner than later....

The after-WWII-time is ending slowly in Germany too...we have to adapt!

What is better, to be German by blood, or German because you spilt blood for Germany?

I would guess a veteran, someone who really shed blood for Germany, would have a much higher acceptance-quota to be seen as German than someone else....

....for that you need a real leader....another kind of politician as we have right now. Someone able to convince and bring the masses to unify and agree.

And if there such a charismatic figure would emerge I can imagine the warning calls against such a leader at the same time too! :)

What's the alternative? The paternalistic autocrat? Re-instating monarchy?

That a majority can be dead wrong is par of the course, but every error could and should be corrected at the next election, there is always this hope!

.....na ja....in my opinion it was a policy fitting to globalism...to an ever closer growing world.

Nobody of those still in power seemingly foresaw that this development could end, and even be reversed, the much talked about "backlash".

The transition from a former strongly globalist gov/policy back to a nationalist gov/policy now runs differently from country to country....from election to election.
