Quoting: valmoe1 Applebees Boneless Chicken Wings Quoting: valmoe1 . Starbucks ANDSalt n' vinegar crisps

I agree! Those 3 show up in Poland and I'll be one happy American! Now, if we could get Polish beers, bread and chocolate in the states... I could be more excited about coming home.

I had BBQ wings and was appauled. I invited everyone over for REAL BBQ wins and they were shocked. The BBQ here was deep fried chicken in a mustard-ish sauce.

Applebee's could make a KILLING here! #12 missing: Applebees Boneless Chicken Wings

It's just not the same here though. I had a friend come stay the summer from Chelm and she admits the Sweet Corn in the States just has a special little something that makes it's so yummy.

KFC here has corn and it's, well, corn. 1 more month and I'll be porking out on Sweet corn!

Yes, but not like the US. Our courthouse is getting a $900,000 upgrade to add a elevator for the 2nd floor! Have to love Americans wasting cash!

My flat is on the 4th story and there's no elevator. In the US i'm sure that's illegal! LOL

I forgot a HUGE miss! Sweet Corn!!!! Mmmmm Sweet Corn

USA, Canada / What kind of American food do Poles like most? [80]

It took about a month by regular post. I think it ran about $30 US dollars to ship a boz with a computer mouse that couldn' tbe shipped direct to Poland, 2 boxs MacNcheese and some make-up. There was a large snow storm in NY so maybe that had an effect. Other packages smaller and bigger have taken 2-3 weeks when shipped by regular post. Shipping via UPS and DHL is insanly expensive. I have never checked ordering from the company. I just suggested to my mom to toss a couple boxes in last minute.

I suggest trying to master home made macNcheese...much easier and quicker. I know, it's not Kraft but I also find the milk and butter here is different so it can taste a little off. Not bad, just not different. The butter and milk are better here so you don't get that chemical taste like in the US :) Joking...but it is a little different.

Sorry, my typing is horrid today!

Life / Reasons for moving to Poland [291]

Love- BF in studies
Adventure- I was here in less than 2 weeks after the possibility presented itself!
Fate- Who'd a thunk it? From small town MI to Poland? I never did!
Youth- I'm too young to not live everywhere once!

I don't care where you come from where your going is always better even if it's going back home!

Or if it comes in a box with directions to "just add water"

I have boxes of Kraft Mac-N-Cheese sitting in customs on it's way to ME! Mmmm processed hydrogenated cheese!
