Any information on my surname JARASZKIEWICZ. My father was born in the Poznan area but where did the name originate? I've heard it could have come from further east, towards Russia. Taking off the ending ,kiewicz/son of, what is the nearest meaning of JARASZ? My Polish grandmother's surname was KAPOLA. Are there any clues to where this may have originated.
