Think long run(regarding cost).Ppl are already being forced to so many things that I don't think it would even matter.If you would want goverment job in any of EU countries you would have to speak english.Plain and simple.
How much would that cost? How do you legally force people to learn a new language, especially when it was never a job requirement to begin with?

There is no trade off.Going to gov office in lets say Lithuenia ,you would be able to get things done in either lituenian AND/OR english,in Poland either polish AND/OR english and so on.

Well ,you can waste the money thousends other ways.Hardly jobs creation.
I do not expect anybody to give up his native language,but expect to being able to get things done in gov offices in either country's native language OR english.

I don't know if there was ever a thread regarding this issue but I find it ridicules that every nation (even the smallest ones) wants to speak its own language in Brussels.It already cost you guys,living in EU BILIONS of euros ,since EU has to provide hundreds of translators for parliament in Brussels and only God knows how many more elsewhere.Why not set as a law that there are TWO official languages in each and every country(except UK and Ireland ofc) of EU,national one and ENGLISH(since its most widely spoken language in the world)?Ofc I can see French and Germans opposing the idea (pride?),but I think it would strenghten integration,make expats life easier and save you some money.What do you guys think,does it make any sense?

If I was Russian would I be advocating close aliance between Poland and Germany?I am 100?%Pole (even though one of my grandmas was 100% German,but it don't matter)
Crow look at the map.There are 2 potential invaders Germany and Russia.I think close aliance with Germany is the best option for PL.Now lets say Russia is invading Poland.Germans are not dumb ppl and they should know that they will be next in line (sooner or later).Knowing that its in THEIR best interest to defend Germany in Poland rather than on Berlin suburbs.Does it make any sense?

Crow,lets be realistic.PL will never be any real power by herself.She can not be since she doesnt have enough population nor territory to be a major player.Poland IMO is in world's 3 division.I will be more than happy if PL only take care of her citizens.As for foreign policy I think PL should be as close with Germany as its only possible.

Harsh or not, it is what it is.I was born in PL(well it was acctually PRL) and would love to live in Poland but since I have travelled a bit I can see (I think) how much things are screwed up there.They make everything as hard as possible, tax you to death and then waste the money.To give you an example they spend bilions on missions in Iraq and Afganistan,saying this is to protect us against terrorism.I am asking what is the point,since polish ppl kick the bucket "en masse" without terrorists help, just bcoz there is not enough money for healthcare.They care about some Chechens and other fugees while there are polish kids starving.That makes me lose my cool.I was harsh bcoz I care for this country but I am completly powerless.

Yea, I catch your drift.You can see my paperwork if you want and IF you manage to get it from USCIS ,coz they say "case can not be found".I have receipt from them stating that my "paperwork" was received 18 months ago but now "case can not be found".And yes I am frustrated.

I dont know bro, maybe I did not see enough episodes (yet)to judge the show ,but from what I saw its clear to me that the Archie character is a complete idiot and jerk.(isnt he Italian btw,coz I think he kinda talks like one?)He "jokes" about everyone jews,mexicans,gays,dems, you name it.How about when he says "England is a fags country"?Mike(Stivic is not even Polish name but more like Yugoslavian one) on the other hand talks with sense (for the most part),have goals , is focused on his education(not to mention that he is acctualy a nice guy) and he dont take s**t from Arch.What about Edith?She is not very smart,is she?(she is my favourite character and I think she is great}
