I did read the post but I can't understand why people would say that is it not a stereotypical answer?? or do people actually think that it's about money... you cant spend it when your dead so live it were only here once :-)

I totally agree, the 1st sign of a scammer i've found is usually have lost both parents in a tragic accident, or they are in need of an operation and need money...

How did you meet her out of intrest?

We met on a disability dating website

Then type and cam.....simples :D I skype with a friend but sometimes whilst skyping we type too, it works...

I don't think she has skype i've done a search but her mail is not in the phonebook

To me it sounds like a tough one to judge, you say you have known each other for 9 months? and things are moving fast, whats the longest time you have actually spent together in one go? you havent said how old you both are as this could have an influence on things.

I have just started relations with a polish girl and I hope it work out for us but I will wait 12 months before we decide on a permanent abode for us.

Why is your family so negative towards her please?

Hi everyone, it's good to know there is a site dedicated LDR's ;-) I have just started chatting with this polish girl who's 29 and she seems genuine but I have been misled before with Russian and American girls starting a relationship with me, to find out within a few days or so they are Nigerian scammers....

And I don't want that to go through that and waste my time again as I feel she is the one for me, but I can't help being wary (just in case) I've done some quick background checks and nothing flags up.

Is there anything I can do to see if she is genuine without her thinking i'm checking up on her please?

Any help would be greatly appreciated
