Travel / Which city is better to visit: Warsaw or Krakow? [169]

Tough question,
Warsaw is a metropoli, very cosmopolitan, big, full of trendy caffe and bars..
Krakow is more personal, but it is full of souvenirs shops and tourist oriented business, despite that, the city is gorgeous.

Abusing foreigners like spanish do, does not make them "out about it" or "non-hypocrites" that makes them Ignorants. It is really a shame that a nation which such reach history like spain has declined so low, to condem racism as GOOD. Its really disgusting.

And Shelleys, do not come here and feel offended when someone calls you racist, Cause you are, and you are a big hypocrite, just read some comments of you in other threats, calling foreigners "SAVAGES" and stop them from destroying your country. If that's not racism, then what it is?

Not only poles
other people too, is the general american inmigration policy.
At the embassies they treat people like real ****, like you are worth nothing and that you only want to still their riches. Its just disgusting they treat people.

Never needed a visa, but friends of mine did and it was just disgusting the way they were treated.

repulsive is the way they treat people in the embassies, i mean these friends of mine were resident in Holland for 10 years but they were of latin origins, same happens in far-asia or other US-embassies.

Such a shame cause once you are over the custom section on the airports of the US, you see another side, which is much better. The problem are the embassy/consulate people...little emperor syndrome they all have...

HAHAHA we actually dont care about it, it's a touristic thingy, the whole district is filled with brittons,spaniards, australians, USArs, chinese, you won't find many dutchies there...weird eh?

yeah, the humour is a bit absent around here lately...somehow all threats end up in fights...you can almost feel the claws and teeth...

Polish men would never wear those, that would be so unmanly

True, they feel too macho, but its the same around all of the east-block...its bizarre

it provides good ventilation: in my books Scotts are smart people;)

ventilation AND also the chance to flash someone you dont like :D, OR have a quicky at the back of a dark alley...multitask is the good old scotish kilt :P

oh i thought of one more...taxi drivers...they always charged me more when i was there :*(

Yeah batteries might be almost done...(if you know what i mean ;)

it would be interesting to find out why, although I am not sure if all the Eastern block is like that

I've traveled a bit in eastern europe, and yeah they are a bit like that, i remember my bulgarian friends were always telling to their female peers, "i cant cook, you are the woman go to the kitchen" the girls just did it. if you do that to a dutch girl, she would smack the hell out of you, no kidding.

But let's not generalize many might be,,but maybe others are not, we just have to meet them yet...

Not really, im against all kind of superiority- feeling...but yeah i mean i have come across polish people who CAN BE friendly. but i have also come across who CAN BE a.s.s.ho.les..

Same for the French, they can be as d1cks as they want to...so stop complaining...nobody is looking down on you..at least not me...

What i meant with Racial revolution (maybe wrong term) was the inmigration wave we have had in the west, having minorities from other countries.etc, etc

Therefore that we do not have the bashing of africans or such, like happens in Russia, Ukraine and a bit in Poland...thats what i intended to say.

And everyone is different, overunderstood, but we all human beings at the end!!!

get a grip of that!
