generalisation, I know.. but the wierd thing is from my own personal expeirence, and my male friends that I have asked, they all come back with "Polish gf's are negative".

Thing is, my friends who have gf's or wives from the uk or other eastern european countries all say negative too! So is this a world wide girl thing or a polish girl thing?

so what about you guys?

Personally Ive had two polish gfs, long term.. and realised that they both degenerated into massive negativity!

nextweek

....this thread won't exist.......... i hope, yet another thread on Polish girls. Why not find a thread about them and chuck this on the end. For regular memebers this is just repetative!!!!

I've had five million polish girlfriends and flipped them any style you like but i'm not writting about it on the forum, i could also go into what style they shaved their you know whats in but i won't. I may also talk about who was a shite cook and who was a good one, again i won't. Maybe i'll talk about every single one of them, about how it all went wrong and how it went so right to begin with.

:):):):):):):)

Have you heard "I'm bored" translates to "Im boring"?!

such an impressive essay tornado?

why thank you kind sir

why dont you start a thread that's interesting for you instead?

i don't need to make a thread every five seconds as i feel i can contribute to the threads already posted, if i have something i would like to talk about i will post it, if not i will not bother.

peace out

save that shite for somebody else :) maybe for when you mean it :)

Having lived in Poland for 8 years, and having listened to 1000s of opinions of fellow ex-pats living here, I can summarise the general opinion on Pl girls:

Positive traits: hot, slim, feminine, cheerful, friendly, sweet, smiley, resourceful, considerate, sexy dancers, open-minded

Negative traits: simple, dumb, awful taste in men (unable to recognise a 'loser'), only plain pretty, insecure/too worried about what men think of them, lacking in ambition, lacking wit/sense of humour, slutty, too passive (don't stand up for themselves)

I think that covers everything.

Positive traits: hot

only plain pretty

So they are both hot, and plain? How does that work, then? lol

why, cos they dumped you? sometimes it's difficult to be positive and an optimist when you have a sh*t boyfriend, especially in a long term relationship when things aren't looking up or going forward. ever thought about this from their perspective, ever thought what the source of this negativity might be? of course not why would you do that, blame their mood and spirits on their nationality yeahhh and support your arguement with what your bitter mates are telling you about their wives as well. this is a typical thread by and for bitter guys to vent and natter about their failed encounters with women who happen to be of the same nationality and that itself in your little minds is enough to stick a label on them and just call them all negative/slutty/plain etc. etc. i personally don't believe you're doing this for some research purposes or out of curiosity, it's your sad revenge and a search of acceptance and support.

awful taste in men (unable to recognise a 'loser')

to spare us silly Polish girls the disappointment, could you Alx123 and all other losers wear a t-shirt with a massive I AM A LOSER DON'T DATE ME sign on it? thanks!

I thought we already had one of them in wide use - the Che Guevara one as worn by younger losers who don't know who he was;)

How does that work? Simple. I'm giving the general opinion. Many guys think they're hot, some complain that although there are a lot of pretty girls, there aren't many classy, stunning-looking ones. People have different opinions.

Thanks for the tip, but I don't think I could deal with all the attention LOL Only joking. Look, I never said it was my opinion. Though I have to say that I don't think I've met any foreigner in Krakow who has not remarked more than once "What is she doing with that loser?" at the sight of a hot girl with an insecure, not very attractive, jealous 'pantoflarz'-type guy who appears to have little going for him.

how do you know he doesn't? looks are not everything, why do you judge others like that without having a clue who they are and what they're like? 'cos she's hot and he's not' well good for him he's doing good for himself at least in the dating department and you foreigners are just jealous and probably insecure, hence why you keep flooding this forum desperately wanting to find out how to seduce Polish girls ha ha.

Spot on... when a guy calls another guy in a relationship a "loser", it's usually a sign of jealousy. "He's got what I want, I think I'm better than him... so he's a loser".

Like when a man calls a woman "a f***ing who*e", it usually just means that she wouldn't sleep with him. lol

i'd rather date a slightly less confident or attractive guy who is a nice person rather than some cocky, arrogant tosser who judges everyone by their looks and thinks he's better than all the other guys because of his nationality or status. if i ever had a dilemma like that i'd date the 'loser' just to spite the other twit lol.

hence why you keep flooding this forum desperately wanting to find out how to seduce Polish girls ha ha.

It seems you are jumping to conclusions here. I was talking about the whole package, not the looks. You're right, looks aren't that important. I've spoken to lots of women here in relationships with insecure 'pantoflarz'-type guys - they say that stay with them out of fear of being with someone more challenging. They would even admit they feel safe with an insecure guy, because they know he'll let them do whatever they want and will always be waiting at home for them, even if he can never satisfy them. Everyone living in Poland knows this cultural phenomenon. I met a Polish girl in a cafe the other day, and she told me herself that when she goes abroad she can always recognise other Polish girls by looking at their boyfriends LOL I think the cultural differences are interesting. In England and the States etc, I think girls are more attracted to challenging, cooler guys - probably because the culture encourages ambition, and the girls are perhaps bolder.

Btw, I'm not trying to find out how to seduce Pl girls -I'm just writing cause I'm bored at the moment. But if any of you foreign guys are looking for tips, here's one: most Pl girls are afraid of being 'taken advantage of' by foreigners - this is because since the good old days of 1990s to 2002, so many foregners have come over to Poland and given us foreign guys a bad name. So, if u meet a Polish girl here, try to be as humble and warm as you possibly can. Don't come across as too cocky, playboy or cool - that will trigger a negative response immediately and you'll get nowhere (unless the girl is the super-confident type).

well that's them, not all Polish girls. p*ssy whipped guys are really not my type.

Don't come across as too cocky, playboy or cool

i don't think that would appeal to many girls, Polish or not.

i recognise Polish girls abroad by their tacky clothes and bad hair styles hmmm ha ha

That's true. But with Polish girls, I think a guy needs to be extra 'careful' here.

Well, it's not really my style. But if a girl is really confident and used to guys kissing her a@@ all the time, a bit of cocky is needed.

Hi nextweek.

Great topic.

When expectations don't meet reality, unhappiness is the result.

I have around 10 experiences that are personal and they are almost all negative.

But on the other hand, I have around 50 professional experiences and they are almost all positive.

And whenever I get a chance, I will have a conversation with a Polish Girl because I am interested in how Polish Society is changing.

Positive Personality Traits
1) Hard-working and very professional in the work place.
2) Educated in the book-sense
3) Good conversation

Negative Personality Traits
1) Inferiority Complex
2) Conflicted
3) Promiscuous
4) Naive in the worldly-sense
5) Unstable and irrational

I would like to introduce you to Magdalena.

1) Magdalena is over 25 years old and from Poland.
2) She expected to be married and have a baby by age 24.
3) She had this expectation because this is what she saw in her own family.
4) She heard that people in the UK were rich and so she thought she could move to the UK and not only make lots of money but maybe even meet a rich UK Guy who would treat her even better than some poor Polish Guy.

5) Now imagine that Magdalena went through a very Catholic Educational System that taught her year after year that it is wrong to have sex before marriage.

6) And imagine that her culture has now decided that a woman should be very successful in a career as well as be married and have a baby by age 24 whereas in the past the career was not emphasized.

7) Imagine that when Magdalena lived in Poland where she had lots of contact with family members on a regular basis through Sunday gatherings, dinner parties, holidays, etc.

Magdalena's Current Reality:
1) Magdalena lives in the UK.
2) She lives with her UK Boyfriend and is having sex everyday with him.
3) Her boyfriend is poor like her.
4) It is possible that this is the 2nd or 3rd man she has lived with and the 7th or 8th she has had sex with.

5) She is not married.
6) She does not have a baby.
7) And she is making low money and so does not feel successful in a career.
8) Her boyfriend treats her about the same or maybe a little worse than a Polish Man would have treated her.
9) She has mostly phone contact with her family and when she talks to her mother her mother asks her if her boyfriend has proposed yet.

10) Her boyfriend might propose to her in five or six years or he may not ever propose because marriage is becoming a thing of the past in Western Europe. Also, her boyfriend has seen his friends pay huge sums of money in the divorce courts and lose access to their children so he is averse to any legal contract and children for good reason.

11) Magdalena may never even have one baby.

Questions:
1) Do Magdalena's expectations meet her reality?

2) Is it possible that there is a conflict with what Magdalena was taught in Catholic Education Vs how she has chosen to live her life?

3) Is it possible that Magdalena is going to leave this boyfriend if she "believes" there is a new man that can meet her expectations and meet them quickly, especially as she gets older?

What you are witnessing could be something like Old Eastern European Catholic Values and Social Norms colliding with the Modern European Way (not that the modern European way is good or better by any means and maybe worse).

i have a polish girlfriend so i have to be carefull hear and use a bit of 'uwaga' or else she will kick my dupa!!!

There is a stereotype formed here in dublin that the polish women have sour faces, meaning that they can often look hard, cold, unhappy looking...

Doesnt mean they are negative
I worked in Poland for a few years and had a few polish girlfriends and i can say that they are a little more negative/pessamistic than the irish women, irish girls are very optimistic, the attitude is very ''dont worry about it, it will fix itself''..... Not always a good attitude...

So i will say yes, they are a little bit pessimist, but only a little...

But they are some of the most wonderfull women ive ever met, in every way :-)
